Nitro is dangerous if you shake it bump it or even touch it explode. these men were mixing explosives with drink bad carbonation. in my town of Bliss Idaho four Chinese died when a flask of this deadly brew blew up in their face. The Sioux hate the railroad it was built on their land and they retaliated and killed the men.

@Soundwave3591 2? I think. Not that they were fragile, just that WWII really did a number on their population. Old machines were ordered to be cut up to feed the war effort. It also should be said one of the two I know is narrow gauge.
@Soundwave3591 i know of a couple of Standard gauge ones in Nevada, but i think those aren't up for rent. i also noticed the CP was using engines form the Durango and Silverton....or was it Cumbres and Toltec?
@Blocklandbrian498 - Yes, in the film, the Durango & Silverton = Central Pacific, while the Sierra Railway = Union Pacific. So, at the end, you have a K-28 and a Shay meeting at Promontory - Kinda strange, but the producers had to work with what they had...
