I saw this line-up in 93 live at The Masquerade in Atlanta. Best. Show. Of. My. Life. Israel was an excellent replacement for H.R. At one point, he somersaulted into the pit. I looked around, and he was standing 2 feet in front of me. Then he knocked the shit out of me and started around the pit. Fucking EPIC!

Saw both lineups with Israel and HR circa 1993-95 and Israel blew HR away. Don't get me wrong, HR was peerless in his day but ultimately lost the plot. Israel had the kind of delivery and intensity you would have expected from a younger HR - and this was still back in 95. Have you seen what's happened to them now? Disturbing to say the least.
@TheInnerStation Oh I agree totally..I love classic BB with HR. that stuff is EPIC! .but he's just become a shell of his former self nowadays..I know these dudes are getting up there in years..but I think they should bring Israel back....he really put his heart and soul into the classics. Saw them in 1993 on this tour and it was AWESOME..was supposed to see them in 95 on the God Of Love tour but they canceled the rest of the tour a week before I was gonna see them due to HR freaking out .
i saw them on this tour. Blew my mind it was so incredible. HR is great but he can be a real douche sometimes
