I tried many guitars. There is nothing wrong with ibanez I like there feel. Shecters are pretty good to IMO. I like deans there great as well but I like fender shaped guitars and don't like the ones they have. Don't like the diff shapes maybe only the Vs

Matt Heafy's ML pictured in this video is the 1st USA Prototype. Thats why the red is so much more vibrant, the ebony is actually a dark black, and the shape is slightly different ( more narrower ) just compare this guitar to a normal mkh, you'll see what I mean.

I have an ML and its ok as stock but we fitted EMGs in it and that improved the tone a lot. They are a really light guitar tho and being so light makes it feel sort of cheap....Comfy quick neck tho but not over keen on the headstock. My son stole it soon after i finished modding it and I aint seen it since so he must like it.

I love Dean guitars because they are beautifully unique guitars at very affordable prices. Don't get me wrong, if someone offered me a Gibson I wouldn't think twice, but for now I continue to play and promote Dean guitars.

dunno why they always go on about matts heel cut away, ive played coreys in a guitar store n the standard heel on the guitar gives u more then enough room to reach the 24 fretts, although i know the heel on my dime ml is appalling i cant even reach the 22nd fret ur fingers get squished on the 19th fret cause the heel is so big cant even play dimes solos a dime guitar, epic fail on that one dean. is the mkh really heavy, more then a normal ml.

Actually I think I got it: If you're endorsed by a major guitar company like Dean, as part of the contract you can only use Deans on stage. I think Dean let them go because Matt used his black Gibson during the Into The Mouth Of Hell tour, so it was a violation of the contract. It could be something else though, I dunno, but that's my guess. Unless Matt and Corey just left them for another guitar company.
