As much as I like FreddieW and his channel, I dont believe that he has filled any niche, nor has anyone on youtube for that matter. If you can make quality content and you are posting videos on a regular basis, like twice a week, you will get viewers and subs. The more subs and likes you get the faster your channel will grow.

@wowfarming The thing with FreddieW is that he was the reason why most people started doing those action videos. Sure, there have been other videos like them before but none have been as original or as high quality as Freddiew's and still be released weekly. So yes, he did add to a niche that was already around. And I disagree with the last part you said. You can post 2 or more videos a week, but it is all about the quality. If it is poor quality, no one will watch.

@Korvolast Yea, I agree with you about the quality, I wasnt very clear on the last part of my post. I should have added quality videos a couple times a week..Thanks, Shoot im okay with subbing to people that only put up content every two weeks, as long as its a quality video, not just some junk so they can make some ad revenue. I have seen some decent youtubers really go down hill in the past year, cause I guess they just wana try to squeeze whatever they can for money from their channel.

@wowfarming That's true to a certain point but you got to remember FreddieW added a million subs in a year. When you start to get into those type numbers you really have to fill a niche, or do something that's being done but better than anybody else at the time. If you look at most of the people at the top , they are doing something that's not's being done by traditional media or seen in the traditional media.

Freddie never answered how many views per month can support someone... I know he said it depends where the person lives, but can anyone ball park a number? How many views does it take to make $1500 a month?

@613themacs I have heard it is an average of 2.5 cents per thousand views. So that would make it 750K views.. But most youtube partners always say they make their cash off t-shirts and other stuff they sell using their channel.
