  • Good, but letters: é,è,ê,ë,à,â,û,ù,ü,î,ï,ç and œ? Where are they?

I don't know how to pronounce them :(

  • @crisnoweg they arent in the alphabet..

  • @crisnoweg those things on top of the letters are accents, and they're not in the alphabet. but you will learn how to pronounce them! they have specific sounds so don't worry, if you're taking a class they'll cover it.

  • @crisnoweg à and â are pronounced "a".

    û is pronounced "u".

    oe is pronounced "e".

    î and ï are pronounced "i".

ù is used only in the word "où".

é, è, ê and ë are pronounced like the first "e" in "meter".

ç is pronounced ss. The "c" is pronounced "ss" before e and i, but it needs a cedilla before a, o and u.

    ü doesn't exist in french...

  • @crisnoweg Be careful, there are exceptions.
