@crisnoweg those things on top of the letters are accents, and they're not in the alphabet. but you will learn how to pronounce them! they have specific sounds so don't worry, if you're taking a class they'll cover it.

û is pronounced "u".

oe is pronounced "e".

î and ï are pronounced "i".

ù is used only in the word "où".

é, è, ê and ë are pronounced like the first "e" in "meter".

ç is pronounced ss. The "c" is pronounced "ss" before e and i, but it needs a cedilla before a, o and u.

ü doesn't exist in french...
