I've made many films most of which are on super-8. And I dang near lost a $2,400 camera last year from a shorter fall onto cement. Anyways, I saw the part of the camera floating in the water but didn't seem to see anything of the camera actually falling. Perhaps less superimposed footage would uncover said "drop" footage.
It would have been better to do a couple takes of the drop (permitting your equipment would sustain); composite the best shots together and deliver a more fulfilling climax... simply give the people what they want.

Great music and video. But it's also a great shame that there is no clear footage of the drop. Furthermore, it's very misleading to say that it gives the" viewer an insight to what a camera sees when it is dropped from the Golden Gate Bridge. " It does no such thing. The BoingBoing story is also misleading.
Excellent concept production and image, I realise the camera didn't live up to the idea but someone will rip off this from another high point with a higher FPS camera, thanks for sharing

The title advertises or implies footage of a camera falling off the golden gate bridge. Upon watching it though, you'll discover that it contains no such footage, and that even if you watch the entire 4 minute promotion for the creators of the music and project, you'll never be rewarded with the actual 12 second fall that most people actually want to see.
I was expecting clearer footage of the descent too but boingboing did say it was a music vid so you can't really accuse them of tricking you into wathcing someones vid...

i like the tune man. the film was cool too. I like the tune alot though. I am a drummer in a band from massachusetts and it's refreshing to hear something other than all the metal I hear from every other band out there. Nice work.
Woulda been nice if you just had the one part near the end of the flight down from the camera's point of view. No effects or anything, bet it was some cool footage.
