SUNY upstae medical university in syracuse is full of racism. A professor at suny upstate once told me that because I was from the caribbean, I was was not cut out for science. He then told me that I should be somewhere climbing a coconut tree. After spending three yrs at that institute and enduring all sorts of unnecessary pressure I eventually left without my PhD. Many medical students faced the same racist pressure and were forced out without getting their MD degree
When I was in Jr.High us other boys would make STUPID, STUPID remarks to a Albino boy in gym class. You brought back that memory. Now that I'm a lot older I wish, I wish I could see him again and tell him what a stupid A@# I was and that I'm very sorry and if I could be his best friend. Chicanos are so stupid, because I'm one! Your a very pretty and SMART girl, when you grow up you are going to be somebody very important. Thank you for a highly educational video. The Lord bless you! : )

Ignore them, racism is just a tool for insecure people to try and fell better about themselves by putting other people down. Never take it personally and keep your head up, all the best.

Não sei se a frase era dele, mas um amigo meu tinha uma expressão: "As coisas têm a importância que lhe damos".
Enquanto não atentarem contra os vossos direitos penso que não devem dar importância ao preconceito racial.
Continuar a respeitar os outros e viverem a vossa vida, criando ligações com quem vos respeita, é o mais importante.

You're gonna have to grow thick skin because we live in a world of hatred.
Everyone is picked on for some reason or another. Don't make some one else's problem yours or you'll be miserable for the rest of your life.
And, remember to always surround yourself with positive people. It really works.
