Overall a great game until you reach Oasis of Magic, where you have to constantly try to run away from an invincible boss who instantly kills any unit he come into a fight with, which is really annoying. As for the multiplayer wifi, it's fun and all but you constantly run into cheatcode users and hackers who tend to walk through walls and instant kill from anywhere on the map. It really kills the entire point of doing multiplayer alltogether.

Overall, i'd give it a 6/10. I perfer Radiant Dawn.

there are a few things I disagree with you. The anime look may be generic, but this can be overlooked due to the fact that fire emblem would not be fire emblem without it due to the mere fact that it is the style of this game.

I believe you should not say etc because a review is something you use to inform the listener/reader how is someone supposed to know that the triangle is swords/lances lances/axes or axes/swords besides the one you mentioned? 3/5 stars.

Personally I think that this game cannot compare to the GBA: Fire Emblem and Fire Emblem Sacred Stones

reasons why

1. There are no more unique critical attack moves.

2. The 3D fight scenes makes the game look a tad sloppy.

3. The option of changing class whenever you want just kills the purpose of having to train specific characters.

Over all I would give the game 6.8 out of 10.

P.S.

I suggest u try the first Fire Emblem on GBA. then compare the two =P Try an emulator

I agree completely that this is the worst of all the fire emblems. Im not sure if youve played path of radiance or radiant dawn but they are very good games and the battle animations look great. This game has really beta looking animations that basically forced me to turn them off, and it lacked the storyline of the other games. Just seemed to me like a bit of lost potential.

I have played ever fire emblem and out of all the characters:Marth, Alm,Sigurd,Leaf,Eliwood,Ephrai­m(and Eirika), and Ike are all better than Roy. @samuraiXlegend FE4 was the Best and most epic Fire emblem ever. just get a SNES EMulator and try it out, it is absolutely amazing. i think i recemend it for FE fans or people that like epicness.

@samuraiXlegend I havent tried this one yet but i will agree with you that Sacred Stones and Fire Emblem for the GBA where amazing! Sacred stones i played through 42 times. That just goes to show how gripping they are.
