Ultimate goblin actually is pretty cool. Even though I wish that they didn't make him norman osborne (because making green goblin a giant hulk-like pyrokinetic monster is a bit of a slap in the face to fans of the amazing universe). Although, you gotta admit if you pretend he is not Norman Osborne he's pretty cool. He's kind of an echo of proto-goblin.

God i stopped playing this game ages ago because of the mission, id either make a mistake when i chased him, and lost. And even if i did finally finish that bit, his fireballs would knock me out of helping the people, or id dodge them until he stops but by then the people die. IT PISSED ME OFF SO MUCH. ¬_¬

I made a test : if u stay on ground near him and don't move he does 2 jumps and u lose.. is to hard if was in this lvl vemon.. right clic and eddie makes double of goblins jump:D I take lots of shortcuts and nothing:( in fact the run after one boss is harder theat beating him :))

And I don't mind Bendis turning a villain into a joke. But he already did that with Kraven. So there was no need to turn the Shocker, and even more later ultimatization into comic reliefs.

That, and many ultimatized characters became too dull and uninteresting (such as the Vulture, Sandman and Demogoblin, to name a few).

I would say that, as of now, MOST ultimatizations that debuted in USM sucked, unfortunately.

What part are you having trouble with: keeping up w/the goblin as you chase him around the city, or facing him in battle? If you pay attention to spider827's tactics, you should get some helpful hints on how to beat him! My advice, rely heavily on your spider-sense, it'll help avoid those pesky fireballs and his powerful pounce ^^ does that help?

Incidentally, these cutscenes could've been longer and shown much more! If you flip through some of the concept-art at the unlockables, you'll notice storyboards/sketches of scenes that were used in the game, and some that weren't! For instance, when Spidey enters the Latverian Embassy, there was a further concept of Osborn's escape; hell, I think the developers even planned on having Dr. Doom involved w/this story!

It's here at last XD the Green Goblin level! Man, I had no idea that you're able to dodge those fireballs AND save those civilians w/plenty of time to spare! I always assumed those timers ran out of time, and because of that, I've always had to face Osborn w/only half-life in the actual battle! I just gained a helpful tip ^^ thanks, spider827! Now, all that's left is the major bout: Spider-Man vs. Green Goblin....I can hardly wait!
