I never did know what happened to him. I know he died like the day before 9/11/01 or the day of...or like JUST before. It was on the news...but then the news stations all disregarded the fact that he died after the WTC collapse. Never got to hear the whole story. WOW I can't believe I still remember that. I was like "Ok the bldgs fell, Now what happened to Uncle AL!?!" (I didn't realize the severity of the situation with 9/11 at the time.)
