I have the exact same gun but mines 2-tone,Im nnot sure whether u have been told wrong or my info has been told wrong to me but the gun is 8 pounds,320 fps i beleive only 800 rpm mayby i got wrong info but anyway thats a great gun i really highly recomend it Also Great video you guys.Check out our Airsofting Videos 2toneairsoft check them out we have mroe to come :)

Does this AEG have problems with paint coming off? I also heard that the foregrip is rubberized and it gets sort of ruined after awhile. Is this true?

not to my knowledge but i havent used it that much. its also about 6 months old.

i dont think the foregrip is rubberized...it might be a bit softer plastic than the rest of the gun so i would say its not true

i imagine so b/c the modification required to make them fit is where the BB's actually come out and get fed into the gun, and have nothign to do with the winding part.

actually i know for certian you can do it b/c i have 2, 70rd mags i use w/ it for reserve purposes.

Nice gun... Is it possible to modify it so the midcaps and lowcaps work? Most of my regiment runs midcaps because they don't require winding, so it would be helpful.

if u mean the shorty mags that hold 190rds i dont see why it wouldnt accept them they might actually hide inside the gun for an overall cooler look IMO

How long is the barrel

about the same leanght as m4 s-system barrel which i believe is like 363mm or somethin and this one is slighty shorter so probably around 358mm or something. i put my m4 barrel in the fn2000 and i could just see the end in the flash hider.

um...no idea b/c ive used this gun in a battle once. and it was a big game so i never got to see the results of its shots, but its same power as my m4 (when my m4 actually works) and my m4 will penetrate through clothing, though just barely so i suppose through communitive property it will. and if i used the wrong termanology in the above sentance my apologies im brain dead today and havent used the right words hardly at all lol.

In retrospect, I guess I wasn't fair with the camera deal. I was watching it in standard quality lol. The zoom in/out blur isn't as bad in high quality.

haha yeah thanks. that is annoying though the blur during zoom. thats like the only bad thing about it. although considering its not even a real videocamera its not bad.

lol! great review guys, really informative and funny near the end! I'm glad you're happy with this gun because I've been looking into the fn2000 myself and many others recommended this.

However, what are your thoughts about the hop-up? I've heard from SEVERAL reviewers that the f2k's hop-up was horrible and not reliable. I don't care, I still want it though, it just looks THAT AWESOME!

honestly, i cant complain about the hop up. i mean yes it COULD be better, however its not horrible and it performs just fine for me. i mean its like everything else in the world: there is higher quality and performance available, however stock options are working JUST FINE.

btw my camera is the kodak z712 digital camera which is an amazing camera for taking pictures with and i cant believe its only like a 130 bucks now cuz it tottaly rules.

the hopup is just fine. you could buy a higher quality one if ur an extremist but i mean its better than my JG m4. but thats not hard b/c that gun sux but its on par with my Kraken ak47 which is the best gun ever IMO

also i use a kodak z712 camera which takes amazing pictures and is like one of the nicest digital cameras ever. its way better than my friends olompys that is one of its competitors. it doesnt have as many features as the olympus, but the olympus doesnt

unfortunatly not at this time. there is no grenade launcher. u could stick one on the top rail if u want. or like drill holes in it and put rails on the sides and then put a launcher on if thats ur fancy.

Looks like a solid AEG. Quick question about the part where you said you have to saw a chunk off of the back of the magazine: Is that mag comment only about that particular mag or does it deal with mags from other manufactures? I have a bunch of Echo 1 hicaps I want to use with it.

im fairly certian it has to do with all mags. the part he was talking about is that little tab that holds the bb's in place so you can wind it b4 putting it in the gun, however with this gun you must remove that tab. it doesnt affect perfomance majorly seeing as how all u have to do is put the mag in the gun and then wind it.

hm just had a though. i put my JG m4 hi cap magazine in it with no modifications. perhaps it is only certian brands.

well i know he did modify some mags however he didnt mod mine and it worked. srry i cant be of more help ATM the gun is not currently with me to check and see

this is the only one available at the moment and I dont know if any ones are going to be coming out. Although as far as higher quality idk if ur gona find one this is a very high quality gun.

and it has a small type motor and uses the same barrel as the M4-s system, although the hop up is slightly taller.

it is a mini adapter but uses a 9.6v battery that is slightly larger than the typical 8.4v battery and has 8 cells. its 4.75 inches long
