Actually, I get that a lot. About sounding American.
I was born and raised in St. John's, Newfoundland.
I've spent the last few years in Toronto for school.
I did spend a couple summers working in Massachusetts, but that's about it.
But yeah, when people first meet me I do get the "You sound American" comment.
So, I guess that means I don't sound like a true Newfie eh?
Hahaha. Anyway, let's go Canada! Beat Russia!
