my cusin just pastaway this winter he was 35 we used to party so fucking hard and we did all the punk years i miss you mason fritz ww as well as all your other boys jg zb jl ww god dam thouse yeares any ways we always opened up with getting shit faced with the weasseals and closed the night with them
@jewelzisawsome24 trust me, you prolly dont want punk back cause then it will be all hip to listen to and a bunch of faggot girls (haha) will start listening to it and know like one song. then youll get pissed
@staygold96 no punk music will teach kids how to be themselves and it will open up their minds instead of their minds being in their cellphones and sweatshop made ipods
somebody upload the marshes, one of my most favorite bands from these punk days i miss so much, now im an inked wanker posing as a finance manager, but at night i put my cape on and storm the streets xD
@TheMuShRoOmMaN999 hey.......... im not gonna start another fight about green day being and not being punk and weather a certain person likes them or not. if you dont, like them, then don't call me out on liking them, keep it to yourself. please, please, shut up.
Wow! I remember listening to this on cassette through my 'Walkman' walking to high school! Along with other bands like Propagandhi, F.Y.P, Op-Ivy, Lagwagon....and many others. Good times!!! I'm 30 going on 31. The years have gone by so fast! I'm just glad I was semi-part of this music scene. Truly thankful for not growing up in this era to date.
i hate my generation being 15 now sucks major balls i'm going to be remembered well my generation as the stupid texters/emos/scenes/ and all that other crap why wasn't i born with the ramones rancid screeching weasel era
@zombieturd7 We've all been there. The 'it was a learning experience' shit you hear about growing up starts coming into play & making sense. This song brings back lots of bad memories for me, but the fact that I'm still here makes it enjoyable.
I love this song and "My brain hutrs" is probally my screeching weasel album right now. I love screeching weasel, their one of my favorite band. Maybe even my favorite underground band, maybe. I have alot of favorite band.
I support this. Make a house party more lively and toss some Weasel or Descendents in there. Hell, even the older NOFX/Green Day would suffice. Late 80s/early 90s punk is the only music I can really get into while drinking.
@SystemOfAKeelan Nobody really partied to the punk rocks back then either, you had your select groups who did, but most of the "party" music from back then was the pop music that evolved into that lil wayne BS. Punk rock was more of an outcast genre for an outcast group, it's what us nerds, dorks, and geeks did to say fuck you cool kids, I don't need ya, and hell, it still is today.
@cocolaboom Not really. Green Day, NOFX, rancid, ramones etc all had huge followings in the 90s. Punks might not like that punk got 'mainstream', but it did.
@SystemOfAKeelan There's a punk movement on right now that's fucking music to party to right now. Check out Bomb The Music Industry!, specifically Stuff That I Like. They're one of my favourite bands.
@SystemOfAKeelan Theres actually a new punk rock movement starting in Atlanta. Unfortunately not alot of people know about it. Listen to "the carbonas" their sort of fronting it.
i'll always remember a guy i went to school with singing this....he ended up getting suspended for adding some "fucks" here and there...lol.....jesus i'm old!
