flashplayer used cpu when this video was recorded. Now you can deactivate hardware mode and also use cpu. And it works perfect in Hd. The laptop is manufactured in 2003...
my acer 9303wsmi had a 3.0ghz tl62 in 2006 i have never seen such a high cpu in a one of these laptops yet i dont understand why mine was different from everyone elses
@GSi16vrs hey this was a nice upgrade mate. how much did the upgrade cost overall? i have a laptop which has a core 2 duo processor and i looked up and the processor only costs around 300$ so its waste of upgrading. i was thinking later of upgrading ram. how you overclocked your cpu? and how you managed to keep your voltage stable?
@elchicoboy Nforce motherboards could overclock via software.
Also you should look on ebay for CPUs.
What do you mean by voltage stable? If you mean keep then the majority of CPUs are made with tolerances meaning they can actually run faster than their stock speed perfectly stable.
@MeakerSE i already looked and they went down for like 160$ still too expensive for being just a dual core processor altho its mobile, maybe that's why they're expensive. and i meant voltage is that if you overclock and you have a low voltage it could burn out your processor along with your motherboard, if you overclock it and put more voltage that it needs to, it will do the same. Either lack of electricity or more electricity than it needs it will destroy your processor with motherboard.
@elchicoboy Hey there, a lack of voltage just makes your CPU unstable, it may spit out rubbish data and corrupt things, but it will never physically damage your CPU. Only high temperatures and voltages will kill it.
@MeakerSE more voltage that it needs will kill your cpu and lack of it. when you want some resources and you don't have enough somehow it will "die", as well if you have more than you need.
@elchicoboy As an electronic engineer and long term user of laptops I can tell you undervolting extends the life of your chip, even if you go a bit far and it's actually unstable, undervolting does 0 damage.
i have a Quad core AMD Phenom 2 3.2Ghz with 6 gigs dual channel ram with the Nvidia GTX 470 1.2gigs of ram and i dont think i could ever downgrade to a laptop even if they are super awesome and portable :c
@pufixas its not worth the price to power ratio alienware is over priced and poorly built if they are still making their mobos also if its more powerful than my pc there is really no point as far as laptops go and even generally pcs i mean really i play a large variety of games and am almost always above 60 to 80 frames on high end games and the older ones like source games i get over 300 ....
i have a 32 bit 3 GB laptop, and i was wondering if it was possible to upgrade to a 64 bit, so i am able to upgrade my RAM to like a 5-6 gb. is that possible or would i have to buy a new computer
Wow you're brave overclocking a laptop lol I wanted to do that to mine but I couldnt find a program for windows 7, Oh well my comp. has enough issues with overheating anyways lol even with it being as new as it is. Hp
omg... man you got some heavy cooling stuff in there. wow what fans... i definetly know you can affort overclock... as for others around here do not play with oc... you need a very strong cooling , that usual isn't present, usualy kinda first problem for laptops, for u to use free the oc utility . cheers
If you ugrade you cpu it doesn´´t affect your ram memory. They are 2 seperate things wich u can ugrade that dont affect each other. I checked google and it looks like you cannot ugrade cpu, sorry. But maybe you can overclock it. Search for "overclocking intel atom" and see if you can find a hany application. Good luck
hey, nice vid, but i need help! I have an acer aspire one 160gb hard drive, 512mb ram, Intel Atom cpu n270 1.60 Ghz, video memory: Mobile Intel 945 Express Chipset Family GMA. im kinda a noob to this stuff, and i want to know how or if i can go from a 32 bit cpu to a 64 cpu for my laptop, if it is compatible, which one should i get for the most memory. nd when i get the cpu, how much more memory could i upgrade to? thnks
The maximum memory u can use is 1,5gb, 512mb (standard) and u buy a "1gb PC2-5300 RAM". Im not sure about your cpu. Im not into Intel that much. I use AMD cpu. Good luck!
How? Your bios should have stopped you from doing so

@bambino79 Hmm i dont know but you need to have socket 754 to use 64 bit cpu. Download Crystalspuid, google it. It can tell you wich socket you have

Most intel systems are locked down pretty tight.

@wheely132 i'm pretty sure it could do 64bit if you install 64bit windows^^
nearly all todays cpus are able to use 64bit if you install the right system
