  • Enemies from the Metroid game series. Flying parasites that normally attach to your head and drain you to a husk. Though they also possess the ability to give energy rather then take.

  • Wow.. That's really clever of you. I never would have thought of dying in order to move onwards. The maze would have tanken me like 20 minutes to figure out to be honest, but that whole dying part is genius! I also liked the giant Metroid, though it would confuse the crap out of me. xDD

  • That giant metroid was the little one which Samus Aran received in the ending of Metroid 2. It got stolen in Super Metroid by Ridley and during the game it grows to that giant. That Metroid sees in Samus her Mother, since it hatched in front of her eyes. In SM it attacks you first, but it quickly recognise you as it's mother and heals you. In the fight against Mother Brain it sacrifices itself for Samus sake.

  • I never really played the Metroid series, so I don't know much of anything. xD I do wonder though, why it heals you and then proceeds to try and kill you. And maybe heal you again. I dunno. I guess I'm overthinking something that shouldn't even have any logic to it. xD

  • Wow that maze loop thing is evil. Thought only Mario Lost Levels was capable of such things.

  • For people that know me best from Mushroom Kingdom Fusion, you'll be excited to hear that N64Mario has agreed to let me help him with spriting and level design for this project. (I did the Mega Man pic on N64Marios Engine Title screen)

    After seeing N64Mario's little Power Shot trick with the wide pitfalls, I might just incorporate that into the first level I'm designing for him :)

    Also I'm getting MegaPhilX involved in this project too, he'll also be able to help with sprites and art.
