  • please can someone give me link for a 3d model of this plane

  • Really interesting but the CGI is so ordinary. You should have got us to do it, we could have made that so much cooler. ww.sovibrant.co.uk. Next time....

  • imagine how much people would be willing to pay for a flight experience like this

  • LOL at people who think this will ever happen. Humanity will destroy itself before we ever get that advanced.

  • u think this is awsome? just wait for year 2100...

  • Will it be equipped with WiFi, do you think?

  • that awesome feeling you will probably live to see this

  • this plane would only really be convenient if it only carried one person at a time....

  • @4ster15 yeah i had similar thought. like hell your gunna be able to play a game of a golf with 50 other people wanting to use the same area

  • such on awesome plane this is amazing! I want to ride this if it ever comes out

  • Yeahhh, Airbus...

Let's not get ahead of ourselves...

  • If that is going to be the music 2050 I would be pleasantly surprised.

What is that plane even doing in the video?

I'm flying my carpet in a couple of years dude...

  • i personally would be scared shitless

  • i wouldnt want to fly in that imagine the weight of that thing

  • It just seems too beyond what a plane is, imagine the length of the que lol

  • Really Boeing had a supersonic jet like the concorde in 1968

  • they always said that windows can't be bigger than they are now... But its a good idea

  • @PinkCherryInc I Think is Possible, but the planes can't fly at 600 Km/h or Don't use normal glass or nor Glass....

  • @PinkCherryInc I'm sure there are materials being made to address that situation better day by day.

  • cool video, but i like plane the way they are now.

  • 25 haters from boeing

  • Will I still have to get up to use the bathroom?

  • @Chris58851 true, true

  • Not soon im only 13 i will probably never fly one

  • all that technology and were still burning gas? humm something wrong with that.

  • @TheNamaste2012 they did say 2050, but i see your point

  • maybe at the end of MY lifetime….im 16

  • Dont want this

  • tits

  • yeah its easy to wish

  • @EpikgamesProduction lol, I think they have been thinking about to make this, not just imaginate something without thinking about how it works.

  • Great but-will any airline company want this idea ? I mean-airliners make a lot of money out of first, business class-this may mean a loss of money

  • @acelight3 Who knows how first class, business class or the whole aviation industry will evolve? In another 10 years, perhaps someone offer a new experience that no one ever dream before. No one can predict the future.

  • If we lived in a Resource Based Economy this would be like 10 years away at most. And it would be for everyone, no 1st class, economy class bullshit. Everyone could enjoy this!

  • I think Airbus is a bit too innovative.

  • @MoustachesAreEpic at least they are thinking.

  • finally golf on the airplane, on the way to the next golf course!... The sphere in the front with the view would fantastic.

  • Imagine a Thunderstorm!!

  • will be for travel to mars

  • imagine the price of first class, i could picture it now- should we fly by first class or buy the new car?

  • i wanna ticket for that

  • i'd rather have bunkbeds on long haul flights than this thing

  • i wish this was invented now, i don't wanna wait 40 years!

  • This is so cool. I'm using this for my Presentation in I.T: Future technology. lool =D

  • where s cockpit??

  • @rehane3 its eaither a. Computered controled (drone) or B i think i saw it when it zoomed out at the end.

  • @90Blakey

Looks like the pilot is beneath the 1st class section when you zoom out you see the window area slightly lower down than the floor your on

  • @Devilzwishbone2009 ya that was theory B lol

  • there wont be a future of airbus unless they run the plane off air, we only have 40-55 years of fuel left in the earth.

    Gl hf

  • @junkrat1 Will most likely be Hydrogen fuelled.

  • A. I find this hard to believe.

    B. In 1966, there was an article in TIMES magazine predicting that cars would be replaced by personal hovercraft. Yet, in 2011, we still have cars! So the probability of this happening with planes is slim, in my opinion.

    C. I also doubt that us human beings will ever find a shape-morphing material in my lifetime.

  • @deafpizzacrust98 everyone a personal flying machine. a nightmare for ATC

  • I'll believe it when I see it. Planes have been around for a long time and the design hasn't really changed THAT drastically.

  • @phillyguy95 Agreed.

Been about the same since the late 20's..

  • @phillyguy95 there is no design change... they are just putting in more comfortable nicer technology in the plane.

  • Looks fancy but it takes the joy out of flying. This could be anywhere.

  • @Hilts931 It doesn't really take the joy out of it. It's just that you only see it as something that looks fancy. If it were in reality, it would enhance the flying experience. Of course, not everything is for everyone, but then you can still just sit in your seat and look out the window if you want.

  • @Kookas Why would you play virtual golf on a plane? Just because you can? Surely thats something we already have and they're just making it look new by putting it in an out of place location such as a plane. Like touch screens on cell phones, we've had that technology for decades. I completely fail to see the appeal, need or reason behind it. I think it's one of these ''everyone will have a house chores robot in 20 years'' video from the 50's.

  • That girl's on L.S.D.

  • I don't think this concept is too far-fetched, some of these things exist already today (although much simpler). I think we can do this by 2035 actually!

  • It looks amazing.Does anyone know the title and artists of the soundtrack used on this video?

  • as long i have a parachute im fine with it.

  • this ppl are worried more about the design and not the safety ?? -__-

  • @darkstorm87, I guarantee you airliners will have human pilots for a long time to come. Passengers don't trust a computer to do that kind of job.

  • @hilfloram ofc its not haha

  • Interesting concept.. Long ways to go.. Looks like they are taking the Boeing 787 window concept to a whole new level... Looks like there is no pilot.. Makes sense since Airbus has always felt a computer can make a better decision in a emergency than a person.. And Boeing had always felt vise versa..the baggage drop is a interesting concept if they have room to fit that whole system in the overhead; and it might create chaos leaving if it's not planned right...I agree with the comments below..

  • gay

  • HOLY FCK!!! if only this was true!!

  • @Toriaa97 shut up ya poop

  • @Toriaa97 ...it is true

  • What if I want to play golf while I'm drunk...?

  • what is the actual name of the aircraft? or havent they picked one yet?

  • your going to need good glass to support the pressure for really high, heights

  • @scottletchford These days Nano technology has gone far enough to make Glass unbreakable or even flexible while its unbreakable..

The principles of using and combining materials in Nano scale has yet to come in mainstream use.

  • yea, that will NEVER happen in `Murica!

  • concepts are pointless

  • Have fun during a store. Thunder and lightening. and your loking at vitalism have fun getting scared as fuuck

  • Wheres The Cockpit

  • The Only Thing i dont like is the glass thats kinda scary if that breaks wow.

  • big big bucks

  • IMPOSSIBLE.

  • Wow

  • This looks cool, but seriously - putting a virtual golf/conference or whatever in the centre which can only be used by one person at a time? This on a plane with +- 150 passengers. It couldn't work?

  • Cockpit?

  • wow we could have this in ...... i think the year 3000 i wish

  • i love airbus..plane airbus very cute.....

  • JIZZ ERYWERE

  • This is too impossible.. and check in at the cabin doors? It will create chaos! :) and if it will be possible.. it will cost a lot..

  • @truly0phinoy umm planes flying in the 18th century were "too impossible to exist" so y cant this, never say its impossible unless it breaks laws of Physics or other univeral laws

  • @SFXKID210 Well, we'll see... its still 39 years away! :)

  • This video will be hilarious in 2050 when we are still riding 747's, A380's, and other present model aircraft, only configured to hold double the passengers at 16x the price!

  • @mattonedime Remember, 2050 is only a prediction.. When scientist discover innovation trough their project alot earlier?, that might boost the development of this aircraft..

This Plane has more of a principle in the State of The Art in Nano Technology and Quantum physics..

  • @mattonedime thats impossible

  • @mattonedime Are you kidding? With metamaterials that are several times the resistance you could make a chair paper thin that could support your weight, you could make the exterior of the plan much thinner, resistant to electricity during a storm, and much faster. Not to mention with ubiquitous computing and computer power doubling every year you could literally put computers into EVERYTHING inside the ship.

This is more like 20 years away, not 40.

  • The day Airbus take this shit into the sky is similar to what happened to the dinosaurs, the day they say a big fire ball coming from the sky!

  • I think it's ugly

  • Meh, kinda takes the enjoyment out of traveling.

  • it wont work

  • thank you based god

  • it'll never take off! lol

  • Cockpit?

  • wtf

  • Freakin' PORTAL 2 XD

  • Let's make a petition to encourage the engineers to finish this airplane for 2020.

I don't wont wait that long!!!

  • Again Airbus Industries is toxicated by wines as when they introduced A340-500 which is a leaking tanker that flies 18+hrs non-stop. Could you imagine how a passenger can sleep in different time zone while the sun is bright outside?

During daylight flight the airlines will have to prepare umbrellas and sunglasses for all those passengers who are scared of ultraviolet. Rethink please.

  • شيء جميل حقيقة

  • like a Dream o_O

  • no cockpit?

  • @richygambs321 3:17 look at the tip of the plane and look down there is the little black window ;)

  • @figure261 I see. Dont really like to, too futurisitc. Wonder how much automation there'll be :(

  • mind=blown

  • Well, looking at those huge window glass. They should also put a sign that says *BREAK THE GLASS WINDOW IN CASE OF EMERGENCY*. Buwahahhahaha

  • SST or GTFO

  • That is cool. I like the way Airbus is going to be using plant-based materials for the seats that are self-cleaning and self-repairing, while giving the comfort of a 5 star airline. I do like the technology. especially the baggage area. Airbus is doing something great here! We need to use more plant-based materials in our aircraft, and completely reducing our dependence on nonrenewable materials such as plastic. I hope this plane does come to reality. One thing: I would love to see a bathroom!

  • @Airlineguy29 Your passion for such a dated concept only shows your ignorance of present technology.

  • Hell, by 2050 it won't really be considered "futuristic" now, will it ?

  • Wow, If airbus is gonna do this, I wonder what Boeing will make ;)

  • @emgasu

    you are wrong

aircraft are not becoming "of cheaper construction" and "more crammed"every day. In fact Airbus looks to try and increase passenger comfort eg. ON the new A350 xwb.

and these "services which used to be free"still are in most cases; it's just budget airlines that make them paid.

  • sound showers? wow that's really futuristic, but.... why wait till 2050?

  • but will it blend ?

  • Great! I love it! :)

  • Wow... Hey Calling all guys! Come to my planet, Tones of naked women for all men!... What is this marketing bullshit? To reiterate, in simple terms: Calling all middleclass investors with money to blow who like to play golf, give us your cash! This will never happen. We don’t have anymore third word countries to exploit the resources from.

  • Well this is nice...but I'll probably be dead by 2050 lol.

  • Sci-Fi

  • Nos vemos daqui a 200 anos!

  • just give me a fucking plane that gets me from point A to B quickly, efficiently and cheaply. i thought planes are going to be faster, who the hell would have time for playing golf except for maybe 1 or 2 people before the plane lands again?? you know what's great for seeing outside, windows, and guess what?! they already come on planes! this "future" while just like any concept car, is bogus. this is going to be expensive and raise ticket prices, and i can't imagine the gas price in the future

  • @jbdranger Haha agreed

  • Awesome, like ac3

  • Will it blend??

  • how does it look from the bottom of the ocean?

  • Of coarse this is third class, first class just uses the teleporter.

  • In the late seventies the great cartoonist and visionary Reiser had a vision for air travel : air cra-cra (air filthy) ; no seats, everybody standing (more passengers per surface), no need for toilets (expensive and bulky), the cabin is littered with straw, the manure produced during the trip is sold to farmers at destination (additional revenue!), one stewardess only (cost-cutting), but equipped with a whip etc...

What vision do you think air travel is leaning to these days, hmmm?

  • We made the entire skins to be semi-transparent like the Predator movie's back in 1988. This would be the optimum way to view the thru the skin look and control what is, and when seen. Not many people can handle runway takeoff looking at the runway.

  • nice render.. but... maybe in 2000 year not in 2050 LOL

  • @mozzoSAMP say what?

  • @youartoyube my english sucks :( ho detto che è un bel rendering ma questo progetto se va bene ci sarà tra 2000 anni non nel 2050... il video è a puro scopo pubblicitario :)

  • i like to see a train travel at more then 1000mph = no more planes

    china can do it

  • favoloso,,,non vedo l'ora di salirci....

  • Where are the pilots!!!!!!

  • keep dreaming , china is rising :-D

  • @AhmadMAbdullah mashallah nigger :)

  • Does it go to space?

  • @Pierpiable absolutely !

  • In the future everyone will be rich and fly first class.

In the future accountants wont discard the golf driving range and stuff in 36 more seats.

In the future the golfers will be willing to spend extra, just to get the chance to drive a few shots on a heaving swaying plane,

In the future, fancy single-post-swiveling chairs will meet FAA safety crash standards.

In the future Airbus will acknowledge that the A399 will be just as crammed as todays planes.

  • @femanvate why would you wan't to play golf on a plane? since its the future maybe we'll have virtual golf

  • isnt this what people in the 90s predicted what it would be in the 2000s. yea this aint happening

  • If Airbus does anything such as this, I'd take a preference riding with them every single time I fly :)

  • It is a cool design but it has lots and lots of flaws! the idea is nice though!

  • Ma perché non pensano a cose reali???

  • Looks good but would mobile seat stay in place in a crash landing? I would expect facing the seats backwards, with Utility fog harnesses and pop-up crash cells. That wont be hard in 2050. The biggest catch will be passenger comfort. These's nothing to grab if its bumpy. Not every one wants to face right or sleep at once and the bar/ rec-room would be a hazard in turbulence. It kind of complicates carry on luggage if you've got to leave your seat and queue at the luggage bot to get your stuff.

  • anyone else notice... no cockpit, no pilots. to have that much faith in technology is, i think, a very risky concept.

  • @rswilkey never make a human do a machines job :)

  • Ma per piacere... -.-''

  • You got Front Row seats to your Death if the Glass Breaks :D

  • HALE NO! You would have to literally physically put me on that plane and make sure Im sedated. I don't like this

  • There's 2-1/2 minutes of my life I'll never get back (couldn't watch the whole thing!) Those seats look oh so comfortable -- not!

  • No bathroom....?

  • @TheLivingston999 maybe you didn't notice the little cracks in all of the passenger seats? Yeah, there's pretty much no more shame in the future.

  • @TheLivingston999 you just go to that hologram room and insted of pressing golf you press toilet so you can take a shit in a hologram toilet

  • @TheLivingston999 no cockpit?

  • Comment removed

  • That see through cabin would be scary as hell the first time you flew into a thunderstorm....

  • @Bailz43 Why in the h--- would you fly into a thunderstorm?
