Both the voices are very sweet and the singing is perfect. Madhubala should have got more songs. She could have given good competition to lata. Talat, of course was unique in the low and medium range.

This song was not composed by Sajjad Husain as stated here-in-above. The film Dost in which Sajjad was the music director was released in 1944. This immortal melody was composed by Master Hans Raj Behl.

Another immortal of Hans Raj Behl was 'Haye jia roye'. for film Milan.

What a class composer this Sajjad Hussain was?It is our bad luck that he composed music for jus a few films.He is certainly a class apart even in comparison to all the stalwarts of film industry.
