Explosion doesn't ignores defense, but is the most damage dealing spell in the game due it's mechanics.

Can't understand Japanese well, but looking at all those "Sealstones" he has (Probably the ones that cost an insane amount of crystals), and probably matching up with his item build he is able to do that o.O? He used....explosion I think, and I can tell one of the sealstone he has on him multiply fire attacks by 1.5 times

Using lots of Sorcerer's Savvy and Azure Gem will have higher INT to get millions of damage.

It is most likely possible through the judicious use of perfect releases to gain Sorcerers Savvy, and proper use of seal stones, accessories, and skills.
The only other alternative would be a cheating device, but most of them would make all the stats be 9999, not 6000.
In either case, it would seem that it is the maximum damage cap none the less.

in one of the comments of some video i saw that they buy status enhancing items and use them. so it is possible to make all the status 6000
