This is outstanding. Takes me back to 96'. Living in a one horse town in Alabama. Far away from the nite clubs and rave parties i had attended before my job transfer their. My Underworld cd and countless other cd's kept my spirits up until i eventually go a transfer to a big city.. this song was one of my favorites. Played it hundreds of times a month.

This is the best version, the Album version from Second Toughest in the Infants. Underworld is my favorite band of all time. I mean it, they are my favorite because I grew up with their music when it was coming out, so it's not the same as saying The Doors is my favorite band, because I did not grow up with their music while it was coming out.

The cornerstone track of a masterpiece album, and I love how differently Second Toughest plays from the rest of UW's albums. This track and the album are a moment of time where some musicians got together and got it all correct, for sure. Especially Karl, sometimes his contributions seem to detract a bit from UW's songs, but Pearl's Girl was made perfect with him. And I won't even get started on the memories!
