i could cry. i love this song. my dance academy did a lyrical to it. it was amazing! they had a bridge too. the part that says: Seen so many jump, never seen one saved. my friend matt, (who was in the lyrical, and NO HES NOT GAY) he stood on the railing and fell off backwards and was caught by the girls in the class. it was an amazing dance. i wish i could have been part of it!

Ok... Look on youtube for the interview of the album "The Captain And The Kid"... He talks about how hard it is to maintain the success of chart-topping records and that's what "The Bridge" is about. How he and Bernie Taupin maintained their success by taking risks through various genres. Hope this helps! :)

Aww I like this song. I've never seen Brokeback Mountain, but the video there is very touching and - yeah - I think it suits the song. The song can be interpreted whichever way the individual sees fit and I think think this works quite well to be honest.

A great song from one of Elton's best cd's ever-- The Captain and the Kid from 2006. However, this song doesn't have a lot to do with what's going on in the video. It's about reaching a point in your life when you go out and give it your best shot, or die trying. Nice little references to Your Song in there as well. Maybe this video should accompany Flintstone Boy or Big Dipper or something, but the Bridge is simply not a homosexual song.
