I dont think any1 is calling raoul Moat a hero for killing a man and shooting his ex girlfriend, They respect him for standing up to the Police Maffia. I believe Moat knew he was gona get killed by Police anyway for shooting 1 of their own so he took the cop's on a wild goose chase for 7 days and made them look like clowns. Stop focussing on the symptons of Raoul Moat's actions...To see inside the soul of a man, you must look to his childhood and upbringing. Was he bullied at school ? Was he rejected by his family ? Was he socially excluded from a young age ? These are very valid questions. I believe he became the manifestation of his younger self...The difficulties he faced from a young age built up to a point where he felt cornered and trapped and had no choice but to fight back.
