They don't really get the kind of crowds they had in the late 90s anymore except when touring with a package of bands. So even though other people than metalheads can appreciate it, I think they do what they do for the love of it mostly.

Entombed started with raw death as i would say, and i guess they got tired of playing the same kind of songs over and over again. So they made Wolverine Blues and made it more fun and groovy rather than "deathlike". btw english isn't my native language so bare with me. rock on
