I make this comment knowing that the Chokehawk fans will retaliate with some stupid comment about their Basketball National Titles or some bizzare history class on overall records. Blah, Blah, Blah! Here is today's news. K-State is 12-1 vs KU in all sports. This stat is for the 2010-2011 school year. The Cats need a new rival. The KU athletic Dept. is devoted to one sport. Bottom line is that KU athletics is nothing more than history. 12-1 nothing more needs to be said.

Mangino was an assistant at KSU for 7 years, and KSU fans make fun of him nonstop. He was one of the people who got you to glory. I know Snyder was the main reason, but Mangino deserves respect, too.

KU has over a 30 YEAR lead in the Sunflower Showdown. Neither program is elite by any means. But to suggest KSU's program is better than KU's is absurd.

Yes K-State was terrible a long time ago, but then snyder came in and turned his team into a powerhouse for a decade. The only thing KU has to show for is one lucky year, an .500 year and every other year in KU football history was below average.
