  • Where can we find these brass counterweights?

  • Its actually not that stable....id rather build a gimbal model rig.

  • i'd rather buy one instead of doing all these steps.

  • DIY means Do It Yourself. How in the fuck am I going to do this myself?

  • Comment removed

  • can you pm me the drafting blue prints?

  • @patricksab hey I want them too!!! It's an amazing design!

  • Digital Rev music:))

  • Really nice and clean video. Clear, good editing and sounds. Loved it.

  • Actually made a similar (based on this design) steadicam. When we're fully complete well write/record a tutorial for you guys and gals!

  • this is not a DIY instructional video, its just a " oh looky what i made" video. nice but.....

  • Can you please tell me where to purchase the universal ball joint for the handle? Thanks.

  • Very nice! Striking video with the black background and very good titles. All aluminum construction makes it as light as possible, and makes it easy to get a good finish. Most people (in the US) wouldn't go to the trouble of sanding and polishing. Looks very professional, which may be why some commenters think it's commercially made.

  • anyone can make this with right tools, like metal files and taps, and tune bending equipment

  • U r cool man

  • this video sucks. It's like in factory. Nobody can do the same at home

  • THIS IS NOT.... A DIY. THIS IS MACHINE MADE TYPE SHIT.

  • Love that Man. Keep the good work coming.

  • @J1I9M7M4Y Dude you did a very good job but tools make things easy no?

  • Too much work. Poor and normal results. Sorry.

  • YEESSS...

  • '

very nice to make a videocamera stabilizer on this video

  • great! i like it may i have some pictures of it? thanks

  • I could make rocket if I had all these tools!!!!

  • @arianclassic Drill, jigsaw, threading tool, file and sandpaper.. It´s not in the tools, it´s in the hands and the brain...

  • Hi there!

Can you send me this steadycam drawings?

    My e-mail janis.celmins777@gmail.com

  • A thing of beauty...

  • I made an imitation of the first model and found the gimbal is not working freely. I used the same type of the gimbal that you used in all your model, but it seems working in your test shoot. I confused if I should continue with this gimbal assembly or change to u-joint. What do you think? I am using Canon 7D camera.

  • like I just have a machine shop laying around... this isnt DIY

  • (Brazil) muito bom... você capricha muito nos detalhes.... faz com que o resultado do teu trabalho assemelha se com produto feito em uma fabrica.... meus parabéns... nota 10

  • DIY stabilizer level: ASIAN

  • omg that sound! it's annoying

  • DIY my cock dude, at least share some documents or the list of needed parts... and don't skip and fast forward everything!

  • Can you do the same thing for a railway camera slider?

  • How much will your charge me to make one of these for me?

  • Made in China

  • those sound effects are so annoying! D:

    great build though

  • Great to watch you craft this, nice results aswell

  • cool.

  • Badass Dude! :D

  • Hi there, I am ask to do a project at school and I found your design. I asked my prof if i can reproduce your design and make it as my project. he said that if i can get a permission from you its good to go and even better if i get some help on all the dimensions of the parts of your steadicam. so i want to ask if I can copy your design and if you can help me out on the dimensions needed? thanks in advanced hope you can help me!!!

    MAC

  • i hope you share the blue prints

  • good

i hope you will watch the zeitgeist moving forward :)

  • you say DIY in factory ways. how can we do the same thing with all limitation.

  • @fbinaural

How is this limited? He just uses power tools for the necessary parts.

  • @fbinaural the most complicated thing he used was a drill press, which you could sub with a decent hand drill, so yes its diy

  • dam i want one....

  • could you put the measures of each one of the parts? please!!

  • Perfect design! Congrats on that! Would it be possible to buy the blueprints?

  • good

  • what are the titles of the music in this vid?

  • made in japan

    100% best quality & design

  • OMG! This is one of the best designs I have seen. Please share the blueprints!

  • good job. You're master bro

  • Hello fantastic job work bilt design, is it possible to have all the dimension of all parts ?

    morgan@paslier.com

  • Can I get a set of blue prints please? Would love to make one. Email is tossik@gmail.com great job!

  • I love your design, plan to make one based on your design so I can shoot videos of my fellow competitors at Practical Shooting events.

Thanks for posting your awesome work/design.

  • Are those metal steel or aluminum?

  • WOW!! May I have the blueprints. wafiabdulmajid@yahoo.com

  • Absolutely one of the finest video’s and pieces of artwork I’ve seen on a DIY project! Everyone wish’s for the “blueprints” but they must appreciate the “trial and error” in design for themselves.

  • are u selling any?

  • What do you call the bearing thing at 2:20?

  • Great job, great video, I would love make one, if you can please send to me the project draw, e-mai: l kcsaude@gmail.com, thank you very much. Kleber

  • watch the end clips fullscreen,1080p....Just Wow!!!

  • Please share blueprints sam@unsam.ru

  • Looks simply wonderful! I'd love to build one... but without blueprints and bill of materials it would be nearly impossible! Can you share those? The blueprints in particular are a must have to cut the pieces as required and drill the holes correctly. Are those available somewhere, or would you send them by email upon request? Mine is: wuthoqquan AT hotmail DOT it

  • Impressive video and product. I love the attention to every detail. Maybe too sofisticated for an average person like me. I wonder how much can have the parts CNCed cost. Great editing too!

  • Very impressive. However I think for the average person it would make more sense to have the parts CNC'ed. The concentric tolerances on those holes is so tight you have to have a very good drill press to do it at home. The tap used should really also be connected to a rigid vertical axis. It would be cheaper to have them professionally made than to buy the tools to do it yourself, but if you already had the tools and really love DIY stuff then this looks perfect.

  • lol that guy in the end xD

  • Hi, great work!

Some one can share blueprints? c3rb3ros@gmail.com

    Thank You!

  • Great effort all round, very professional looking video and steadicam. ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with the sound effects.

  • Good job but you should ABSOLUTELY NOT do sound effects!

  • Can I please buy one from you?

That is, if you have make them for people to buy.... PLEASE!!

  • Good work but what about a gyroscope in the base to make it even more steady - I have an idea.

  • All YouTube videos should be this clear and well edited! Thanks!

  • +1

  • こんにちは私はあなたのビデオを愛し、私はIM英語として話をするトランスレータを使用していました。

    私はその多くのIMが自分を作るために行くことを、安定したカムが好き。

    あなたは私のブループリントを送る気か?感謝

  • Awesome job!!! Wonderfull! Profissional stedicam!

  • Where we can get the schematics?

  • Great work on (1) the stabilizer and (2) the video of making the stabilizer. Really well done video (clear cut and easy to follow flow, music, editing, shot selection, etc, etc). You have set a high standard indeed.

  • It is a beautiful unit and seems to be well made. I want to build myself one. Could you give me a list of parts needed (where they may be obtained in the US), approximate costs and instructions would be much more helpful. Look forward to hearing from you, Bill

    FathersR2@yahoo.com

  • to much machining its not DIY friendly anymore...

  • @1234cj All you need is a power drill, pipe bender and jig saw, it's really not that bad..

  • @PocketElectronic hahaha its not that bad if your a machinist or if you own a machine shop.. hahaha, who own a pipe bender in a typical garage nowadays?

  • @1234cj Pipe benders are not that rare.. I bought the same one from this video at home depot for 14 dollars. I actually just finished my steadicam based off of this one this morning without the need for a machine shop or machine expertise.

  • SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!!!!

  • you are very skilled craftsman, thanks for sharing!!!

  • could you upload a copy of your blueprints as a .pdf file??? Would be really awesome =)

I love you're work! Well done.

  • Parabéns!

Muito inspiradora a sua idéia. Até me motivou a fazer o meu próprio Steadycam. Irei agora pesquisar as ferramentas para realizar este projeto.

    Sucesso a você!

  • SUPERB WORK...VERY GOOD LOOKING STEADICAM....WILL U UPLOAD THE STEP BY STEP IN MAKING THIS FABULOUS STEADICAM LIKE YOUR PREVIOUS PROJECT ?? WHEN..? REALLY ADMIRE YOUR QUALITY WORK....

  • Love your work mate, congrats!

  • @PixelArtworx hi can you speak english?

  • 素晴らしいです。技術はないですが、現在、Xperiaarcで使えるスタビライザーを製作しようと思っています。サイトも拝見させていただきます。

  • 製作した甲斐があります、ありがとうございます。

  • 感動しました。
