  • By no means am I saying that schizophrenia is a purely environmentally caused condition, but I think that environment does play a large role in triggering it if the person is already at slight disposition. The way this man's entire life seems to be a double bind situation.

I am not schizophrenic, and when I am in a tough situation where no outcome seems correct, yet one must be, I feel a minute part of what this man feels, and it is hellish. I can only imagine how he must feel.

  • I wonder how this guys doin now...any update?

  • Why is he playing with his hair?

  • @Duvmasta it must be an obsessive compulsive disorder

  • This is so backwards. These doctors need to rethink their game plan cause sending people away, taking away their freedoms, and drugging them up is only going to make things worse. He's been abused. He probably feels hopelessly alone, and he's got three people telling him how messed up they think he is. On top of that they're talking to him in a shitty, condescending manner.

  • He actually sounds really smart. It sucks that he can't keep his thoughts in order. This psychiatrist really irritates me for some reason.

  • I dont think I could be a psychiatrist, Id bust out laughing listening people like Gerald talking. The condition is hideous of course, but some of the things schizophrenics say just crack me up. Some of their talk is fascinating and hypnotic in a strange way. Im like Captain Ahab who was comforted by mad talk of the mad boy Pip. Hmm I guess that's an ill portent for my own mental health if Im like Ahab.

  • these people trying to help him are getting absolutely nowhere :/

  • This poor, poor man. He obviously is very intelligent, but can't order his thoughts, or tell his own thoughts from ones produced from his mental illness. I feel so bad for him.

  • Gerald never has any fun. Do you know how old this is? I saw him in a video in a psych class in '85.

  • lol. do you have a headache?

  • Hillbilly Heaven (dsp laugh insert here)

  • No one in their comparative socially claimed sane mind has the right to call another person's thoughts loosely connected. Coz simply they cant see whats going on in his mind. He might have a strong connection that wants to express but lacks the wording that does the job. You doctors kill people with medicines for making you dough. Schizos need to find 'self', and they need reasons. You social robots lack reasons. All you have is a defied form of socially accepted logic that is hardly any reason.

  • @rakabir1 I agree... A little too blameful for me, but true...

  • @rakabir1

Right. That picture really MIGHT have a headache! ;)

  • @ClumsyRoot The point was that the person in the picture at time of the photo being taken might have had a headache. See, when you are dealing with schizophrenians, you do understand that the blood rush in the brain is more than you normal bunch! this suggests more activity of the brain. So, when a schizophrenic is making a statement on an observation, it's not easy to figure out what originated that, but somewhere down the line it has a validity, for sure.

  • @rakabir1 Nah you know nothing compared to a medical professional. In your logic this person is just absolutely fine, when pretty clearly he's not. Get a medical degree then you may have an opinion. You don't know enough to judge.

  • @un42n8karma Aaaand it is more likely that you are. You need to be well informed to have a proper valid opinion else you are talking trash.

  • @rakabir1 Using fMRIs, MEG and PET scans, psychiatrists and neuroscientists can see what's happening in the brain, and have found evidence that the dendrites aren't connecting properly in the brain, so literally, loosely connected. It's also important to note that Schizophrenia is most often treated with both biological and psychological methods, so it isn't just 'doctors', it's teams of people working to help these individuals that are clearly unwell. ...

  • @rakabir1 cont. The problem with sufferers of schizophrenia is that they have lost touch with reality, so finding 'self' as you put it, would be pretty impossible without neurotransmitter-regulating drugs to help at first.

PS. By calling these patients 'schizos', you're SOCIALLY labelling them, these are people with a disease, and it's ethically incorrect and very insensitive to do that. Come one, have some sense and do some research before you criticise an incredibly complex disease.

  • My dear friend, I have been diagnosed with a 'extreme form of schizophrenia' as the doctors and psychiatrists found/thought back in 2009. I am just sharing facts. So I know one thing, the voices are uncontrolled thoughts and the hallucinations are my minds choosing of options of what and everynotion it can possibly attach to any incident that leaded me to fear.

  • @toujoursbien18 So first hand experience, hallucination and voices DO NOT exist in my ear or eye. Just like you have unccontrolled thoughts, we SCHIZOS also have uncontrolled thoughts. The difference is we have it more than you or that we dont really want thoughts in our heads, whereas your normal rational logical social people has only thoughts to rely on, so it's nothing new to them.

  • @toujoursbien18 To us, it is. We are uncomfortable when we think and we recall there was a time when things would perfectly get done without thoughts. We dont like fear and we rebel. And the leads for you ratinales to think we are messed up, just coz we boldly try to step up making our points, and YOU CAGE US FOR FOLLOWING OUR HEARTS. So dont be like the rest of the hypocrites and say I am labelling anyone, for your society has taught you only labels and identities for people.

  • @toujoursbien18 Which are the same thing. By the way, I had decided to drop my meds rite after i was released from the madhouse, and now I am naturally decoding everything out again. Lemme tell you a fact, your meds induced more thoughts and attchments in my head and I was more fearful, just that this time i didn have the guts to even speak out how i feel, thanks to you, doctors with degrees. You know, your meds might induce fear and therefore control, but we never stop feeling.

  • @toujoursbien18 And for your part of the story, imagine an infinite loop of thought one day induced in your brain for the habitual negligence of following what comforts your heart and do exactly the opposite for attaining some materialistic stuff in life, with your controlled amount of thoughts that you use for planning things out, you actually are in fear of everything to be lost. For either you do know how it feels or you have a logic that tells you that it's ok not to feel..

  • @toujoursbien18 continuing, not to feel bad when you follow social instructions against your hearts' will and do stuff. You will suffer my friend, and this endless loop of thoughts will one day eat you out and one day you will be dead coz the meds you use to induce sheer hopelessness in people who tend to be natural are your part of this story, and what goes around, comes around.

  • @toujoursbien18 Just coz I feel bad for doctors for I dont really blame you guys. You have no heart to feel. So you dont really understand a natural being. I know you have problems concentrating to new stuff, i know you look and look but see nothing, i know your problem of categorising words in different groups categories and the lack of it, I know your fear with all your conditions of HAPPINESS being fulfilled even, is breaking your mind, and one day it will break. Come around

  • @toujoursbien18 What label do you carry? Of a medical professional I suppose? So how does it feel to label yourself with a name they gave you?

  • Funny aint it? Theyre always coming up with new drugs, so obviously the prescription stuff has problems, but weed is always the same. And they never show what the prescription stuff is made from. Probably rat poison. That's why they say "Possible side effects include Diarrhea, nausea, suicidal thoughts, um you know DEATH, stroke, kidney failure, vagina falling out, eyeballs melting, heart failure, dementia, fear of insurance companies, heart burn, AIDS, a slight case of fuck you, & etc"

  • who needs lsd

  • @mumenschantz The system of treatment is imperfect, and there is risk involved, but this poor mans needs some sort of treatment--he is obviously not living a normal life, and his condition is hurting him and his family. There are good doctors and good treatments out there, and sometimes they do work.

  • Typical Ron Paul supporter.

  • im so scared the picture has a headache?

  • I hate that. Having a bunch of students watching and looking at you like an animal. I mean they have a medical condition not circus freaks.

  • poor chap

  • @mumenschantz yeah feeding him up on meds

  • genius or bat shit crazy?

  • Dat nigga gone

  • what a joke. this is just subjective opinions on someone. then claim it's a disease but no there can't do any proof. the Waxy flexibility performed on kids is like a a pure con job. If you see a psychiatrist and say nothing you will be diagnosed. maybe unusual form of Schizophrenic and it from the enviroment or in your genes.

  • The ONLY thing he had straight was the social security check.. interesting. Seems he's using it to manipulate his mother. She looks like she's had it, I can only imagine what she's been through.

  • I like the way he twist his hair lol

  • Charlie Daniels Band lyrics..I kicked old green teeth right in the knee..

  • @wertube1 (speaking realll slow) vedy..vedy excellent, I once had a dream i was a bird, then i dove into the sea as a dolhspin, and oh yeah dead serious, spirit quartz crystal transforms your life i promise..spirit/cactus quartz...it keeps away the neg energy troll

  • You gone tell me snoops dead?

  • The guy was smart though.

  • Sweet Lord. If I worked with him, I'd laugh my ass off. I know it's sad and everything, but some of the stuff that comes out of his mouth.

  • Did anyone else get the Charlie Daniels Reference??? Lol lol. "I just reached back and kicked ol Green Teeth Right in the Knee"!!! Lol

  • @moetshouse101 get your head outta you ass you atheist idiot nobody need your unaducated uponion.

  • got damn it im swaggin

  • I think his ideas, are very valid. He talks about unifying the mind, and I've experienced this, it involves DMT, a sacred geometrical healing portal of intense light and a comign together of all thoughts and feelings into a surge of love.

  • @StuckInTheSky0 coolstorybro.jpg

  • @StuckInTheSky0 ummm not really, this dude makes no sense

  • @JmfD100 Well I know this, medication is very bad for you... especuially psychotic.

  • @StuckInTheSky0 bung hole

  • @JmfD100 yes, Bung hole, kundalini, root chakra, PUSH THE BUTTON, as the hipsters say, yees, yees, ground thyself and beliefs to see the light, i dig

  • @StuckInTheSky0 so what you are saying that his ideas in some other aspect of dimensions make sence. these doctors are socialy liminted by concept and therefore can not see out of their social programing.

    is that close to truth?

  • @smallpotatoes989 The ideas only make sense in the mind of the schizophrenic. He has undifferentiated schizophrenia, meaning he has a combination of 3 different types of schizo (Paranoid, Disorganized, and Catatonic). His jumbled thoughts like 'the painting has a headache' makes sense to him. His brain pulls together irrelevant knowledge to create answers.

  • @Phillyfan320 I thought it was artisic, "The painting has a headache" a good picture for how he feels

  • @StuckInTheSky0 - yes, but it is very New Age. Sounds like a spiritual thing. From my point of view these are demonic forces. Try some holly water or pray to Jesus. If smth will happen to your body or you'll hear voices against it that might be it.

  • @StuckInTheSky0 You're nuts. stay off drugs, or you will end up with mental illness as well.

  • @StuckInTheSky0 Right, OK. First off. He is telling a doctor (I suppose) that he fears him electrecuting him, putting him in jail, or killing him. How is that feeling valid, in any way? And how does this feeling in any way, have anything to do with a surge of love?

  • @StuckInTheSky0 dont talk such shit

  • @StuckInTheSky0 The fuck what?
