  • Albert Einstein said that with our senses we only see a shadow of our universe/reality, for the rest of it we have to use our imagination. This is not an exact quote.

A lot of facts we know about are universe are from indirect measurements.

  • This simulation "theory" does not take into consideration Free Will. Simulation would require that the simulated have no will of it's own so that it doesn't get out of control and overtake the "creator"... there are enough sci-fi movies about this kind of "simulation". A Free Will means we make choices and create our own world. When we make the correct choices or the best choices, we discover that we are part of the Creator and have no reason to try to "overtake" "Him".

  • @Kreneep1052 There are nearly limitless reasons that could render your assertion invalid, so I wouldn't be so certain like you seem to be that things HAVE to be a certain way or the other. Pretty archaic thinking, like theism.

  • awesome

  • your interpretation of this is no better than something a hindu or a jew could come up with....pick a god and paste it to the hypothesis and you've got a myth thats all your own.

  • You should check this out : /watch?v=JVB1ayT6Fdc

Euclidion claims they can improve graphics more than 100000 times what we can have in video games today.

  • HOLY SHIT MORGAN FREEMAN!!!!

  • woaw

  • somethings we can't change, the creator is great

  • I’ll like to kick the creator for simulating me and my life the way it is. Thanks a lot!

  • @Singerjoy

Creator has promised salvation from this corrupted reality- new haven, new earth, and new resurrected bodies for his servants. Rev 21:1-27

  • @Singerjoy it's more like you are an avatar. you are a soul attached to a body, you came here for a reason, to experience this life. if you don't like your life, be the change you want to see in the world. do and be good and all will be well in the end :) i do realize that many people have unfortunately lives, but everything happens for a reason.

  • Reminds me of the movie (13th Floor) Simulations within Simulations, within simulations, within simulations, created by simulations.

  • you're back to sq. 1 - what are you before you exist here and after you die. how were you still yourself before this 'simulation' was made. why is this 'simulation' the way it is, and how to change it or make different 'simulations'.

also recalling that - in terms of physical body sustenance in this, it is very much tied in with biology and ecosystem. which is itself consciousness, can technically die, and technically may not always have lived in here either.

  • GOD?

Science has far better explanation of reality than some guy or group of people who just want your money because you like having fairy-tale stories read to you as a grown adult, shame on all you.

  • @Symbiont5 Science may "explain" reality, may "mirror" reality, but that is all. (really)

  • You consider the search for knowledge and understanding to be the destruction of god? So the main tenant of belief in a higher power is blissful ignorance? Interesting.

  • science is way too desperate on destroying god, they'll create a fake god to take gods place

  • @originalidentity There's a difference between God- and human beings playing God. Freemasons, Evangelicals, Radical Islam... All machine minds. Spirituality IS a science, the science of Spirits, and it's the true nature of the universe. Unlike Religion, Atheism and other egoistic Matrix systems. You could at any moment realize your life is a virtual illusion, before trying to blame science, which created medicine, education etc. And the NWO is egoistic enough to discriminate and kill everyone

  • @Kidofrodo Religion man made, do not confuse with creation or "science" which only interprets or copies that which already exists.

  • Computers will never know that they know. Sim Fail.

  • @intrptr and we'll never record images or sound. and never fly or go to the moon. don't underestimate the genius of man when given enough time.

  • @illwah I draw the line at sentience . Knowing that you know... science just mirrors creation, crudely at best.

  • he is wrong in the desctription when he says that we are the first people to simulate and make virtual worlds. we have always done it with our imagination and fantasys. i make video games and epic adventures in my mind all the time. its called day dreaming

  • @robjanos Also, its bizarre to suggest that a programmer would present a tenuous set of moral propositions to be followed. Why would they? They could alter the code to change our reality however they chose. Why would they be concerned with what their simulations were doing morally? And even more perplexing if the notion of supernatural salvation. Are you going to make up some BS about that really meaning that you'll get your code sent to a back up server if you're a good simulation?

  • @AletheianAeon

If I was the creator of an artificially intelligent beings, I would desire, that my creation is good and follow the moral code. No idolatry, adultery, murder, and theft…..

These are good for the growth of civilization.

  • I would not enforce the moral code, but rather observe the population to seek out those who are living by it and are freely accepting the probability of my existence. The goal would be to harvest the properly forming AI’s who are aware of me and actively seek me. Those would be worth saving and worthy of further programming enhancements. And yes, they would be my special files.

  • @robjanos Idolatry wouldn't have any effect on the growth of civilization. Neither would adultery. You know what would? Anti-biotics. Why focus on idolatry when an all powerful programmer could have programmed us some hand sanitizer? Do you have any idea what a boon that would have been to people 5,000 years ago? Saying what you would want as a creator is rhetorical at best and has zero bearing on any potential actuality. Maybe there's no such thing as "want" for en existence outside our plane.

  • @AletheianAeon

As a creator of virtual reality I am seeking Sims that recognizes me as a creator and desire a relationship with me. I am not interested in stupid Sims developing the wrong way-Idolatry. I am concerned for the wellbeing of my Sims therefore I resist adulatory.

  • @AletheianAeon

Follow the so called the purification Laws contained in Leviticus and there would not be a need for antibiotics and the spreading of the illnesses would be practically impossible. Bible deals with sin as a source of all illnesses. Sin is the willful violation of Torah.

  • @robjanos That is a total fabrication. Even with modern sanitation methods spreading illness is still completely possible. In fact, it happens all the time. Leviticus dealt with mostly skin conditions, female menses, and certain discharges from genitalia. But this is a paucity compared to the vast number of diseases, their mode of transmission, and the fact that without proper sterilization a great many of them are still transmissible. The Black Death is an excellent example.

  • @robjanos And here's an interesting thought: What assurance do you have that a back up of your code would be meaningful to you? You're assuming that your personal line of experience would be transferred, as well, but for all you know the copy would have an entirely independent line of experience. So being a good simulation nets you nothing but nets a copy of you a back up, thus defeating the reason for following whatever intention the programmer had to begin with.

  • @AletheianAeon

Artificial intelligence- is software that from the moment of its creation is self improving.

As a Creator I choose the guidelines for proper and the improper Ai development.

Properly developing Ai is of great value for me. Therefore properly developing Ai will be saved but the improper Ai will be destroyed.

  • @robjanos If you were a programmer setting up a program that would better itself automatically, then, by definition, it would not need programmer intervention. It would be autonomous. Also, you assume qualities like, "Properly developing AI" and "great value" but fail to demonstrate what exactly those mean. Why would properly developing AI be of great value to you if you're all powerful and all knowing? When you're an absolute everything else is by definition inferior to you.

  • @robjanos Also, you didn't answer my question. What assurance do you have that a back up of your "code" would undergo the same real time experiential line as you? How do you know it wouldn't be a clone that thought like you, while the "real" you was deleted? It would be self defeating for the purpose of becoming a better AI (for the sake of self preservation) if you didn't actually survive. The program would be built on a premise deleterious to its intent.

  • @AletheianAeon I don’t think I understand your question, but anyway.

In the artificial world, created by me, I would save only Ai demonstrating particular characteristics. As I have told you before, Ai must come to understand who I am as its creator. If Ai is not able to discover it, this one will not be considered for salvation. ;)

  • @robjanos It's a philosophical question. Because a thing is a copy of you, or exactly similar to you, does it make it actually you? Because a copy of you is saved, does your specific line of experience still exist?

Also, what good is an AI that comes to discover its creator? What task would it be suited to? A creator doesn't need a program to validate his existence. I would prefer an AI able to think critically and rationally to one that believes for no valid reason that something exists.

  • @robjanos Your proposition of the biblical god being a "programmer" is easily refuted. Most obviously is that a being able to manipulate our "code" wouldn't need to communicate through a collection of bronze age manuscripts. Second, the bible doesn't reveal any knowledge that the peoples of its eras wouldn't have known. For instance, the account of genesis isn't an even marginally accurate portrayal of actual history, which an all knowing being (programmer of otherwise) would know easily.

  • George Berkeley approves of this video.

  • everybody who has watched bruce almighty knows that morgan freeman created the universe he is just humoring these people

  • @Norman7sev

You are right about that. It was done before by the Creator Yahweh. I don’t think that Darwin or Lamarck had slightest idea of microbiology or virtual reality. Or that this unknown to them world of science will eventually crash their theory. Is Jackesss your name?

  • The pointless speculation on bible verses was kind of pissing me off.

  • Stop being delusional, if there is a God, he does not care for you and me, he just started the universe with its laws and from there it evolves based on some principles. Lowest energy states for electrons in atoms, predator-prey duality, competition for energy (basically light for plants, food for animals and us) and I could go on and on. The "Word" is information not code. And the elementary unit of information is the "bit" ( 0 or 1 ). This duality is everywhere in nature.

  • @Brearos in Quantum physics everything boils down to "relationship"... Relationship with God is the ultimate relationship because we are "God"... meaning we cannot be separate from Him because we are part of Him.

  • Quantum physics does not state that things don't exist when you don't look at them. It states that they turn into a definite state from a 'superimposed' state (whatever that means). So it's different from being in a simulation. The particles still interact when I don't look at them (hence the interference pattern). So they are still there in some form. MYTH BUSTED!

  • We are in the image of God. IMAGE. IN. We are there, 'in' the image of God and the image of God both. Google an article called: The Physics of God - Perspective on Reality from Science and Religion

  • In the beginning (TIME), God created the heavens (SPACE) and the earth (Matter). Let there be light (ENERGY). In the beginning was the Word from John 1 is WORD / WAVE/ Force. Light is both a particle and a wave. Father (Prima materia), Son (Word/LOGOS/Wave) and Holy Spirit (Consciousness). Light is actually a trinity. So are we. Body (Particle and wave) and spirit (Consciousness). Jesus possessed the Holy Spirit. Salvation is information saved or lost. Law of nature must be followed.

  • @88tuner.

god is a simulation run by one line of code written by...

  • The Matrix lol

  • I think therefore i am - simulations theory defeated!

  • Comment removed

  • @unknownfakename,

You think you think because you are a simulation created and run to believe you think therefore you are not a simulation - simulation theory victorious.

  • Gives what you what you are looking at when you are looking at it .. thats a weak hypothesis. How would this idea account for satellite camera images. 3D worlds in games are _not_ simulations on the subatomic scale. A bunch of clever algorithms create the illusion of a 3D world.

  • @scientiavictoria 3d worlds in games are only very primitive impersonations of the actual reality.

All laws of physics, mathematics and chemistry are put in place by higher power. Over the centuries we have discovered some, but all of them are invented by the Creator. As you say " A bunch of clever algorithms" that control the current status quo.

  • some of this stuff sounds sketch. What evidence do they have for saying that matter is only finite when you look at it?

  • @GerbenMills Simulation is never self -propelled , it a result of intelligent design.

Information contained in your DNA is measured in Zeta bytes. It surpasses every word, ever spoken, by every living human being, fitted into 5 Peta bytes of disk space, in ASCII text format.

  • @robjanos Yes, what I ment with self-propelled was, that at the beginning of all, there was just this formula set in motion, ofcourse the fact that not everything is symetric, and we are living in a balanced but random universe means there is more to it than just a formula, otherwise this simulation would allways come out with the same result, pretty boring. I do look at it now, like a biologic phisical simulation, an illusion and more real then anything could be.

  • @GerbenMills Yes, reality is being overseen by intelligence of stupendous proportions. This intelligence was known to ancients as God YHWH. Who manifested himself within this simulation in “Jesus Mode” to communicate the way of salvation to intelligent beings as yourself .

So please strive get to know his message not from lips of his pseudo followers but from the pages of his sacred writings the Gospels.

  • @robjanos (sry for the dubble post btw) anyway, there is a lot I can't know because I just can't possibly imagine it with a 3d body and a kind of thinking that is based in the ego and not awareness, however, knowing that this is a simualtion does feel like I can toutch awareness, or atleast allmoast feel the tip of the mountain. knowing there is a Cosmic Resonance Intelligence (god), it removes all self resistance in the mind. is this what awake feels like?
