Harry was voted in in probably the most troubled city in America considering foreclosures and unemployment-Las Vegas, which is pretty much most of Nevada. There is also a heavy Mormon presence in Nevada and Mormons often vote for one of theirs assuming he is a holy man. Strangely Harry Reid really does not seem to stand up to traditional Mormon values like financial responsibility and obeying/enforcing law (eg soft on illegal immigration) but somehow still gets their votes.

Harry was voted in in probably the most troubled city in America considering foreclosures and unemployment-Las Vegas, which is pretty much most of Nevada. There is also a heavy Mormon presence in Nevada and Mormons often vote for one of theirs assuming he is a holy man. Strangely Harry Reid really does not seem to stand up to traditional Mormon values like financial responsibility and obeying/enforcing law (eg soft on illegal immigration) but somehow still gets their votes.

Anthem Blue Cross PPO. this plan will can potentially bankrupt insurance providers. insurance is a company: they need to make money.

I'm astonished that so many Americans resent paying anything to help anybody else.. A quarter of your income taxes go straight to super wealthy bond holders, and you gripe about spending a few quid to help fund healthcare for people less fortunate. Not everybody is poor through laziness. To expect old people to pay for all their own medicines, full price, is monstrous.
Time to join the rest of the civilised world.

@Porelax17: How long have you lived in the country you're living in now? If you've lived in Europe or wherever all your life then your way of life is normal to you and is acceptable. You should have some respect, or at least, knowledge, that the majority of your American neighbors don't want Universal Healthcare here. America has something called a Bill of Rights and a Constitution and other documents. America isn't a socialist country...but that is what Obama is wanting the nation to become.

@Porelax17: I also have to clarify some of your other comments. Senior citizens don't have to pay for all of their medications...we have programs in place that are designed to aid those who need it. This ObamaCare law that passed wasn't a health care reform bill. Instead it was a referendum on health insurance companies where the Federal Government will now get to regulate private industry {health insurance companies}. Whichever way anyone looks at it, it's socialism.

When individual choices start to evaporate and we start having mandates placed upon us by the Federal Government, that's when our freedoms start to erode and we could end up becoming Europe II instead of remaining America.

Progressives and liberals, in my opinion, are more concerned with people who like this video than actually having an issues oriented discussion.

@Dreamersk8 You know... I understand that dilema, and I can sympathize. But... Why can't the gov't help THOSE cases out on a case by case basis. and leave the rest to take care of themselves. In Minnesota we have MN Care. for those that cannot get insurance for a variety of reasons such as affordabilty, pre-existing, and handicapped. For those who work, but just can't afford, they offer sliding scale premiums. There is no reason to put a Cast on a scratch... Get a bandage...

I am a hard working American putting in a minimum of 60 hrs a week to afford healthcare and anything else I desire. I "PAY" for mine and should be able to decide what i want, or choose to self insure.I don't remember ANYTHING in the CONSTITUTION stating entitlement to a FREE RIDE... Just the chance to make it on your own...
