Ooh, socialized medicine. I guess we need the House Committee on Un-American Activities to investigate Medicare and Medicaid.
It's funny how Roskam's argument at 7:25 for why the bill would lead to socialized medicine is actually a really good argument FOR socialized medicine.
Too bad Obama has gotten so mellow as president. (I must admit, though, he was wrong to call the criticisms "ad hominem".)

No, there is no argument for socialized medicine unless you are a fool who cares not about out of control government spending and taxation. AND the resultant decline in available quality health care services.
While all of Europe is moving away from socialized medicine, you liberal fools look at it as a lofty goal for nonsensical reasons. You just can't learn from the mistakes of others, can you?
Obama was dishonest with his rhetoric and his current plan is socialism.
