Hopefully. Me and my mom talk all the time about government happenings and she even says that she has never been completely fearful of what the government was/is doing, and she says that she's coming close to that point.

The worst bill is H.R. 1388 and 1444.

I am in no way completely "up" on my government knowledge, but is there any way that we can get more control over what is going on w/ our pres./ other government officials and their "great" ideas?? It scares the crap out of me to see our government going in this path.

Basically the only way that we can have any kind of control over our government is by electing politicians that will have our best intrests in mind. But obviously we failed to do that with the new regime that's in power. But just because they're in power doesn't mean we have to do as they say.

Yeah fox news is really biased, to the conservative side, and cnn and msnbc are biased to the liberal side, if you want the truth you have to watch independent media or citizen journalism.

Technically we are a Constitutional Republic, but now that I democrat has been elected, it will shift more towards a democracy. Personally I prefer our constitutional Republic because it is simpler, and when working right, strictly limits the powers of the government over the people.
