  • this video is total BS, my squadron have done better than that and i am only a sergeant, also I don't know where you got that GDT footage but it sure as hell weren't off the ATC. You wanna see a real squad and a real NCO Drill Instructor you come to East London.

  • @iamiSniipezxX I asked the two air cadets in my awesome afc detachment who have just joined and they are not as good as we expect at drill from any cadet and at least we dont lie in are recruitment videos mp5's and scars

  • WTF mp5 and p90s

  • lolwut the air cadets have MP5s and SCARs?

  • i like how all cadets have got to do the about turn know

  • I take it the footage of people handling the l85s are the JL courses?

  • wow what shit, The british army don't even have SCARs yet the air cadets do? and mp5s? yea they aren't given to the air cadets. this is such shit.

  • I've been in the air cadets for a while now, and we've never done field combat training with guns....

  • @TheCrapoo I can tell, as you just called a rifle a 'gun'. as any patronising NCO will say. Guns are mounted on the back of a Battleship. do courses and get experience.

  • @markgoodall oh cmon u know what i mean smart-arse

  • @TheCrapoo you use RIFLES on the juniors leaders course

  • @TheCrapoo Put your name down for the Air Cadet Leadership course run at Frimley Park, it's run by the ACF. It is a good 80% fieldcraft leadership with a great deal of 'field combat training'.

  • 869 (Penicuik), ever heard of us, didn't think so, we have the scaffiest squadron in the corps apart from Loanhead, we won't be doing any shooting for about 10 months at least and it will be No.8s, two of them, we haven't seen a range for around a year now even though we have a ACF range 100 yards away.

  • I've never done that much fun looking stuff with the ATC after three and one half years, but then again my squadron has a small hut and no RCO, I would join the ACF but I'm already a corporal so I can't be arsed starting fresh

  • Anyone know if they do that stuff in Canadian Air Cadets because I'm enrolled and we don't do any of that.

  • @709division In the Canadian Air Cadets you will go flying, shooting and other things in the video I expect. Ask the staff at where ever you're enrolled at and see what things are available

  • guys join acf(army cadet force)we do paint balling and all the stuff you sore in the video we also get to use the l680(l98 cadet genial purpose rifle)we also use the number 8 the target rifle paint ball guns lsw(light support weapon)we go off in teams at camp get give 300 or so odd rounds we wil load our mags and spray the enemey (even your frends) with blank ammo we also shoot all of those guns live on range , this year with the cadets i am going to Canada with the cadets for free for 6 weeks

  • so, all of the drill shots were NOT ATC there CCF (RAF) cadets, and the end had almost nothing to do with it, although to be fair its a well put together video

  • one thing wrong with the video. the EF2000 has a iron cross on the side, it' s bloody German

  • Fuck you go acf and the parts with combat ain't act there wepeons were wrong and your not aloud imitation fire arms and the drill was wrong I should now my detachment of acf is Irish guards

  • @Anevilglare total idiot.....air cadet drill is all round better ask anyone.

  • It's fairly humorous reading some of these negative comments, considering the ATC brought to me all of the contents included in this video, and a whole lot more. Outside of Air Cadets I would never have had these opportunities!

Amongst the best things I participated in, were most definitely Longmoor Wing Ex, Herts&Bucks Wing Cdr's Overnight Ex, Shooting, running PRMC training at our Sqn, International Marches, Annual Camp, Marching Band, DofE, and Drill... Join a Sqn, and make the most of it!

  • @HeavyGundam7 i wasnt suggesting that you was a child, cadets generally are young, and they are very immature, thats why they do the things you have already stated. obviously NCO's have a little more decorum

  • @markgoodall ah fair enough, i stand corrected. Sorry man!

  • Comment removed

  • I was in the ATC for 6 years... never once did i paintball, run around with ball bearing weapons, never did I get a flight in a heli, never did i get to do anything more interesting than drill... Advise kids, do NOT take part, its strangely addictive considering you gain nothing from doing it.

  • @TimPriestnall Junior Leaders course, enough said. lots of helicopters involved, main reason i wanted to do it tbh...

  • @markgoodall Im on JL at the mo now :) only had one weekend of it so far but its awesome haha, but very academic and theory based at first. As for helicopters- we may or may not see them this year, they do it differently every year!

  • @HeavyGundam7 you will do theres a staff member whos deals with Merlins, who are your QJL's??

  • @markgoodall WO Ramsey told me that they do something different all the time, he said we might have them but they try to something different if they can :) I haven't actually met my Q yet cause he wasnt around for the first couple of weekends but we a flt. sgt. Vince as my Q last weekend and i should be seeing my actual Q this weekend coming. If im honest i cant remember a lot of the other QJLs names if im honest :S Goffin is the most Senior one from the sounds of it this year though :)

  • @HeavyGundam7 Goffin was a Q from when i did mine this year, he will be SQJL, and Vince was my Battle buddy! tbf hes sound as long as you dont piss him of. ohh, and dont jack of half way through, whatever they try to scare you with, its actually piss easy to do as long as your fit and have the mental capacity to plough on no matter what :) how many cadets have applied this year? and are there any ACF or anything? we had none last year :(

  • @markgoodall Haha yeah i knew Vince from before, we did the Royal Review Parade together, he's quality! Well i want to make it all the way through so i dont plan on bailing :) They brought numbers wayyyy down this year we have about 48 this year but only had 56 on selection which im told is severely less than usual. Apparently most years its around 100? Nah no ACF, all ATC lads and ONE CCF so he's getting no respite from the look of it! haha

  • @TimPriestnall im a air cadet and in mine we do ALOT last month i did gliding soon to be flying im bag packing next week passed an exam last month about to pass anougher got a badge friday passed a first aid couse 2 weeks ago going marching on the 13th november were going on camp soon and well im 14 and love it my friends their are my bestfriends

  • @TimPriestnall You my friend, were in a shit Squadron then.

  • @TimPriestnall Youre an asshole maybe if you'd probably asked to do stuff then maybe you would of done all this stuff

  • @TimPriestnall hello, i actually completely agree with you, it is strangely addictive even though you get very little from it mabye thats just 1188? but i doubt it (sam gamble BTW)

  • @TimPriestnall why are u telling such a lies? I have been in ATC for a long time and I got a lot of experiences and awards including flying and shooting. Anybody who likes flying and interested joining RAF in future its better for u to join ATC. and Its FUN!!!!!

  • I'm from National cadet corps (NCC) from Singapore. ^^Y

  • You will pass TGO1 in 5 weeks

4 months later ACTUALLY DID THE FUCKING TEST

  • been in for 9 months im first class core marksman shot at bisley and going to cissam in the next couple of months

  • Air Cadets are the real elite!

SAS? Bless their little cotton socks.

  • I was in 1119 sqn The ATC and the ACF beat the sea cadets by far.

  • @Mrdubstep23 My sqn. (southport) have 50 cadets on roll. The local army cadets (West Lancs) that cover a much larger area only have 25. ATC kicks YOUR ass. Nobody even notice's the sea cadets, ATC nd ACF can both agree on that :)

  • Haha! Around about 2:11/2:12 it shows a German Typhoon - we can't fly in those! 3822 states 'RAF and USAF high-performance aircraft including fast jets' on the permissions page.

  • ATC =

    Squadron

    Wing

    Region

    Core

    ACF =

    Platoon

    Company

    Battalion

  • i only realised how awsome cadets was when i got my discharge

  • Comment removed

  • Overly dramatic, im a cadet, yes drill, flying (usually NOT in Jets..ever) and shooting (not at eachother with modified guns?..) are all what we do. But it really depends what Squadron you go to to be quite honest your gunna get a lot more out of being in a squadron from Devon or Central London than in Birmingham or Surrey just because of where in the country there placed. I have been a cadet for 2 years in Surrey Wing and to be honest a lot of this I haven't actually experienced.

  • Army cadets is for people who want to fight. ATC is for people who use brainpower and tact, and fight sometimes. The only reason we dont use blanks is because it is too expensive as we have to also pay for the flying. I wish the ATC could fire blanks, maybe after the econemy has stabilised!

  • @black39gold we can use blank. Simply reach the rank of sgt and go on the Junior Leaders course . . . or if you arent hardcore enough, go and do the ACLC.

  • @DanTapson1 We used to fire blanks before things got too expensive. This is probably true ^^ But in our SQN, our Range officer said we can steal the ACF's rifles and blanks if he get's his blank operators qualification. or something like that

  • In the real Army Navy Airforce. yes they do take the piss outta each other . 1 infantry regiment would take the piss out of another. But it all gets the job done .

Cadet wise The acf kick the lot of yours ass

  • I'm in the wrong squadron, i have friends who are flight sergeants and non of them have ever done anything near jets or paint balling.

  • This video sums up the ATC - Bunch of fucking liars up their own arse who have to lie to make themselves look better. Urgh it fucks me off so much when ever i speak to an air cadet they try to bring up reaons why they are better than the acf (and they aren't!).

If you want real adventure and not endless nights of repetitive drill and first aid then join Army Cadets, not the dull ATC.

  • @miky261 shutup. Army are shit =P I'm in a CCFRAF, but the honest truth?

Navy are the tightest, for us, the most family-like

Army are, although the oldest and most traditional, shit. The entire year failed their weapons handling L98A2 first time, and only 3 of them are currently qualified due to a half term course

RAF? We're the best overall ;) We make good friends, work hard for CCFtests, and jump at any CCF events such as charity, oh. And we DO have good, active fun; heard of british bulldog?

  • @chiwawatang fuck the CCF posh cunts

  • @miky261 ahahahh, nahh. Makes life easier for us, cos we only meet up once a week. And we're not posh.. well, the girls school isn't, the boys' school is a different story, however. Besides, in the end, we work as a contingent. fack the Army; if you don't have a rank, or not in a team such as drill, your version of formals is wear your belt over your jumper, hahahahhh

  • It would be cool if the ATC really was like that...

  • any1 who can join air cadets should! i really want to join but my parents wont let me and im never going to get that amazing experience that i want so badly!!!!!! ='(

  • @disaster1616 why wont they let you, it is a good experience

  • I was in army cadets for 2 years, made corporal, then quit. People just use army cadets as a "youth club" and not many people actually take it seriously. In ATC you have to pass exams, so therefor there are no idiots in the ATC, unlike the army cadets.

  • @Ryanj2610 haha you have no idea how wrong you are I was in Air Cadets for a year and a bit and thats all they ever done was fuck around being childish yea its great to have a bit of a laugh every now and again but they always done it there is no discipline in air cadets one of my mates is a corporal and he has to tell the CO and he cant do nothing. I have now been in Army Cadets for a year and its more strict but not to strict. no matter what cadets u go to you always have idiots.

  • @TheDevlin95 Mabey its just that squadron Our squadron is disaplined whenever possible, I bet all cadet forces have a few squadrons( ATC) soz dont know what they call them in the Army, sea and marine cadets, that arent up to scratch

  • @NonstopWolf14 fair enough, they are called detachments in the army cadets.

  • Am a ex army cadet i might join the 52 city of calgary air cadets DUDE THATS A SICK VID thats british right correct me if am wrong

  • What i find funny is how you never get the RAF, Army, or Navy arguing over which is better or calling each other gay, posh or stuck up. But for some reason cadets jump at the opportunity. I'm an air cadet but because of the budget cuts i can't do the role i wanted to in the RAF. I'm signing up this year either as a navigational officer in the navy or household cav in the army. I personally don't care about these stereotypes because the actual forces work together as one powerful unit.

  • @HeavyGundam7 As a matter of fact they are worse than us. hell, regiments in the army hate each other let alone hating on the RAF and NAVY.

  • ive been in the air cadets now for 9 months and i have never even heard of the atc running around shooting each other with modified mp5s! or flying in jets!

  • @YouKnowWhatFilms i have been in for five years and know of both. 9 months is nothing in the ATC, A friend of mine got a flight in RAF Hawks at RAF Valley in Wales. he got that for been the voted the best cadet on the camp. and on the Junior Leaders course the Enemy that you fight use Different weapons. Now you can use both.

  • @markgoodall 5 years? how about i done 8 years, 5 years 13-18 reached Flight Sargent, 2 years 18 - 20 Cadet Warrant Officer and the past year as a Civilian Instructor, Not to mention that im now going into the RAF,, and let me tell you, the ATC DOES NOT allow any forward projectile firing implements, slingshots, pea shooters and RIFLES! Not on exercise, not at camps, only on a Live Firing range with a qualified RCO, hope this helps you to look like a noob :)

    p.s Army cadets suck balls!!

  • @MrDEEJAYLEE fair enough you may have more experience but the ATC sqn. are well within their rights depending on which region you are in to practice section battle drills with replica weapons. the muzzle flash on these videos has been added on top in editing from the video I used it from. I am also well aware that no weapons that can directly fire projectiles can be used in the ATC however the use of Blank weapons is safely taught on a number of courses in the ATC. Oh, and its 'Sergeant'..Noob.

  • @markgoodall Check ACP 16. Cadets are not under any circumstances alllowed to effectively run around with rifles. The exception to this is Junior Leaders but whilst on the course you are not classified as a cadet. We are in the process of planning an open night and arent allowed to do section battle drills with rifles.

  • @Jamie060286 You are allowed to. Check PAM 5, last chapter. All about section tactics and drills using the SA80 platform. Wether you have the correct quilifications for staff is a different matter.

  • @markgoodall GET ON GOODY!!!!! :D

  • @markgoodall Whoever sanctioned section battle drills with airsoft guns needs their head banging against a wall. You just look stupid mate. Not a realistic air cadet video, if you wanted to play guns you should have joined the ACF, you just look like you are walting it up. Poor show. And yes, you can do blank firing in the ATC, however it is only usually done either on a joint ex with the ACF or on CLC/Junior Leaders.

  • @iambartwilliams this wasnt my squadron. this wasnt me. this is a video demonstrating some skills. i have just passed my Junior Leaders course so I have some basic knowledge about some infantry tactics, and what courses offer them to cadets, dont get on your high horse with me, Its a video, get over yourself, frankly, on all of my videos i get enough of it and theres nothing i havent heard, watch the video, or dont, I dont care for your opinion about rules and regs tbh. its atc not raf. geez

  • @iambartwilliams fucking spot on mate. In the last 6 months with ACF i have been using my field boots over 20 times, which is more than some Air cadets get in three years lol

  • @markgoodall Sergeant? Ok. Talk to me about NCO courses. I'm from 93 squadron and I'm starting to overhear things about me.

  • @MrDEEJAYLEE as a warrabt officer i would of thought you would have more composure, but i'm not here to argue brilliant video

  • @MrDEEJAYLEE as a warrabt officer i would of thought you would have more composure, but i'm not here to argue brilliant video

    P.S what squadron are you???

  • @YouKnowWhatFilms iv been in the corps for nearly 6 years and i dno what wing or region your from but there are courses that you do have alot of "running around " they ovoisly dont use real life rounds its all blank fire.. go on google and educate your self - junior leaders course and its the toughest course in any military organisation, and with the aircraft you see are ovuiosly from the RAF its self!

  • @YouKnowWhatFilms thats because they dont aha

  • @YouKnowWhatFilms haven't you read page 7 of your 3822 then?

  • @YouKnowWhatFilms you bin to any dry training yet i heard they do somthing similar

  • @YouKnowWhatFilms would be cool though woudnt it :L

  • @YouKnowWhatFilms they are army cadets i think. None of that can be done within the ATC. The print on their greens are of a different code to air cadets, i cant remember the name, but those are darker, different pattern, and the colours are also different.

  • @YouKnowWhatFilms you have to be pretty naive to believe that what you see in this video is done on a day to day basis, I'm a Sgt in the ATC and have been in for roughly 3 years. Been flying 5 times and we go on the ranges at least 4 times a year. The most important thing that you get out of the ATC (if you're at a decent Sqn) is discipline, experiance of responsibility, people skills and a knowledge of the RAF if thats what you want as a future career

  • ive been in the air cadets now for 9 months and i have never even heard of the atc running around shooting each other with modified mp5s!

  • Brilcream Boys

  • whats the song called?

  • whats the song called?

  • @goudei Requim fora dream

  • Hey Fungrounds (Tye) I go to 2433 as well! :) bet you can't guess who I am lol. Clue: my girlfriend goes there too.

  • I'm moving squadrons! We never do any of

that in our fieldcraft stuff! :L

  • army cadets=snd normal people

    sea cadets=gay saliors

    air cadets=posh stuck up pricks

    now take ur pick

  • @jakecosta96 army cadets= stupid people who think the amazing because they are involved in the army+ retards because they let anyone join.

sea cadets= normal people who have a genuine interest in sailing, by the way your stupid for believing stupid stereotypes like that.

Air cadets= Normal people who are interested in flying and what makes you think we are posh? (im in the atc btw)

O and if u ever get a chance to see the air cadets do drill you will realise who retarded army cadets really are.

  • @MegaKabloom wa so people in the ACF dont have a genuine intrest in the army and also u r sayin they r retards coz they let every1 join but wudnt tha make em more normal than stuck up selective ATC AND uze reckon ya mad coz ya fly sum little shitty planes

  • Whats the soundtrack to this video??

  • im my oppinion that ATC is one of the best desitions that i have ever made :-)

  • Do none of you have the maturity to see that your arguing on totally irrelevant principles. You can stereotype as much as you like by saying the ACF is full of chavs and the SCC is full of retards but do you really think that there is not a large amount of cadet's with potential to progress into different parts of the Armed Forces. Regardless of what cadet movement you are part of there is no reason why you couldn't become a really successful soldier/officer/sailor/crewman etc.

  • aww thats cute you had to put two comments. :( it obviously took you a while to think of what to put in that comment considering you had to do it twice. o and the RAF wont be funding you as much now anyway soo... unlucky chuck.

  • @prouty111 well they still are like today went to raf holton got a ton of stuff free meal info books worth up to £40 not to much but they still fund us so sorry chuck

  • you it all stopped when an Army cadet got killed with a blank at close range :/ so pissed off , only the Army cadets could kill with a blank

  • @cynosurium not true at all.... any senseless motherfucker could kill with a blank

  • @cynosurium Blanks are nearly as deadly as live bullets. You arent allowed to use blanks in any cadet organisation now

  • Comment removed

  • what are they doing from 0:43 to 0:51

  • @awesomepwn12 There doing combat simulations with blanks. I don't know if its done anymore. Some people told me the army stopped us but I'm not to sure.

  • ahahahaha, guy on the left marching at 0.22 fucking funny.

  • Is this your own footage?

  • ive been in the ATC for a couple of months- Ive pulled off three 5.6G loops; taken part in parades and completed a week long AT camp. In this time, the Army Cadets have probs learned how to smoke a bong and are now making money selling hash.

  • 2348 sqd ftw

  • Yeh but in sea cadets there's the ROYAL MARINE CADETS!!

  • Me 1284 welsh wing Tenby pembrokeshire

  • 4F sqn. Oldest in the country :)

  • @XKnifingNinjaX 93. Biggest in the country!

  • @XKnifingNinjaX 2F is the oldest in the country, it stands for 2nd founded and after 1F closed down 2F is now the oldest! 2F ROCKS :P

  • Can i ask a question why do u were white belts? im a cadet from nuber 2 welsh wings and we dont ware the white belts nore do any of the wings around us.

  • @james5709 it might of been from a drill competition or somthing , i'm from 266 , (northeast england) squadron and we don't

  • @james5709 Certain large squadron don't just have alpha and bravo flights. Our squadron (93) has an Induction,Band,Ops and regiment flight. Each has there own speciality. Band is musical, Regiment do lots of field-craft,stealth exercises, vigorous physical training and other things. Ops does projects like simulators, aeromodeling, and IT projects. Band does...music.They were white belts when doing drill on certain occasions.

  • Brilliant video! The song fits the scene very well. Actually how big is your squadron?

I'm from 93rd City of bath and im told we are the biggest in the south west. So i wondered how big a normal squadron was

  • Yes - we do Airsoft but its not a cadet activity. .

    Great vid

  • @EMPIRE01233 what, at 13? i think you should look up the minimum joining ages mate

  • @EuphPlayer0809 the minimum joining age IS 13 dimbat...

  • @blooperwaluigi53 i meant for regulars... jesus, you don't even fucking know me mate, so don't call me anything..

  • 1026 sqn. c'mon air cadets kick ass

  • 138 sqn

  • pommy 232 sqn in australia hehe

  • 1220 is tha best sqn

  • 152 atc sqn <3

  • when im 13 im join 1223 squadron in caerphilly :)

  • Since when did you guys use MP5's?!!!?!

  • Greetings from 2267 Sqn, Brize Norton Oxfordshire.

  • 494 kik ass cuz we won this years falklands

  • @jackoguy1 seriously it's all about 1312 we won tri-service erm what else best band and air rec time as well in the wing and not forgetting best drum mager in region u guys have nuffin so shusss :) (oh i do love being a cocky bastad lol)

  • @crazycrocc1993 you spelt Drum-Major wrong

  • we used to do the firefights with blanks but the army stopped us. we can't use the assault courses without qualified instructers wich is a shame.

    cdt pearson 494 sqn

  • oh yeah we have a euro fighter typhoon at our sqn (1079 tiverton) we are always flying it its so much fun... nice vid tho but you could have used a different text font.

  • what ever people say aboat the air training corps is not true. its is not shit or embassasing it is a organation that is a conflict of the royal airforce and how many people do u know that go shooting for free gliding, flying for free or parashooting, drill, duke of edinburgh ect for free you have to pay 1 pound a night monthly and pay for camps for your food and accomadation i know i've spelt it wroung but all the activities you do air pade for by your wing ok. 103sqn south west yorkshire cwo

  • this looks reaaly nice (the vid) wish my sqn's was as good

  • The truth is that Air cadets most days either learn about stuff like how planes fly and shit and if you lucky mybe once a month play football for like 30 mins. So to anyone watching these Air cadets vids and thinking that Air cadets looks awesome, trust me don't join its a pile of shit. And why in these advertisements do you try to make yourselfs look like soldiers when i went to air cadets all i saw was fat, nerdy, posh nob heads it pisses me off.

  • @JazzyMan1990 Woah man! Thats totally out of line propaganda! If the ATC is as you say a pile of shit when we get to shoot, glide, fly,do adventure training and DofE on a regular basis, what does that make the army cadets! Pfft! Fail

  • Ok this vid actually pisses me of, its trying to make the Air cadets look like the Army or some part of the Armed Forces which trust me it isn't anything like it. I'm not in the Army cadets or any other cadets so this isn't me talking shit to make you join another cadets, I actually went to Air cadets for quite a long time so i do know what im talking about. In advertisements like this it's trying to make it look like they shoot guns all the time, the fact is they do it like twice a year.

  • 152 SQUADRON!!! CITY OF HULL!!!!!

  • what song?

  • Shown too much greens for the amount we actually do ha

  • @78thJune true dat hahaha. depends on which sqn though

  • army cadets = chavs

    sea cadets = retards

    air cadets = normal people

    take your pick :P

  • @blooperwaluigi53 Marine cadets: Bad ass.

  • @blooperwaluigi53 only chavs in the army cadets, in the UOTC there is normal people who are pretty damn smart :)

  • @blooperwaluigi53 loool i got cadets been for 3 years just transfered from london wing to essex wing and they majking us do christmas carols in ASDA :/ thats not normal . lol

  • @blooperwaluigi53 no you got it wrong

    army cadets= normal

    sea cadets =strange

air cadets= strange strange people weirdest out of the lot

  • @bigpizzaguy don't make me laugh

  • @bigpizzaguy Army cadets get called ping pongs at air cadets :)

  • @NinjaNoobTurtle do you know what the air cadets are called?? well i can tell you, wanna be pilots but infact your a bunch of retards.

  • @prouty111 Haha, my point proven ;)

  • @NinjaNoobTurtle what point? are you agreeing with me? i couldnt give to shits about the "air cadets" because im going into itc catterick on the 5th of may. and with all these defence cuts you "air cadets" wont even be allowed to go flying anymore so unluckly.

  • @prouty111 Sadface, sorry :'(

  • @prouty111 Err no. Don't bullshit about stuff you don't know. We will still go flying because the ATC is technically a charity. We get funds for flying, shooting etc by subscriptions, fund raisers and from taxes and the RAF directly.

Stick that in your pipe and smoke it.

  • @prouty111 Go screw yourself you hater. Nobody cares about you opinion. I don't care if your ACF or Sea cadets, your an offensive, blind twat.

  • @blooperwaluigi53 marine cadets

    the best

    now go fuck yourself lol

  • @blooperwaluigi53 now now...with out the ACF you boy would not anything to shoot at when you grow up to fly plans, as its the ACF that put boot on the ground when we join the army, not like you lot. Fly around for a bit and then home for medals and tea. :)

  • @blooperwaluigi53 what about marine cadets?

  • Current Air Cadet, It's amazing, Better then both sea and army cadets to be honest :)
