Though I'm a Punjabi, I must say, I simply LOVED this movie !!!

Great screenplay, great dialogues, great cinematography !! Everything's just great about this movie !!

Most importantly, it isn't totally pro-Marathi and teaches everyone to live in unity !

Today, I have seen the movie. Movie was AWESOME . Theater was house full (Gold Big Cinema at Kalyani Nagar, Pune)  . Every person in theater was enjoying the movie and shouting like "Jai Bhavani Jai Shivaji".

Yesterday I saw " Made in China". It was a great movie, now I can say that the standard of the Marathi's movie has now gone up, more and more famous maharashtrian actor, director will raise it to the higher level.

But only think I need say that they should have spend more on marketing, if u not promote ur movie how will other people (Yung Maharastrian generation how lives in suburb) know about the movie ?

Nice movie trailor but Mahesh Manjrekar does not suit the role of shivaji maharaj at all. He should have taken somebody else- more fit, young and good-looking- to do the role of the greatest king of maharashtra.

Secondly, I don't think this movie would address the real issues i.e. migration from UP-Bihar, etc. because otherwise the censor won't approve the movie as censor is controlled by non-marathis). Pro-marathi movie 'Mumbai Amchich' got banned but Deshdrohi was shown across maharashtra.
