This is not without good reason. Radio is a business, and when there is no demand, there is no market. The truth is, when most Americans turn on their radio and hear anti-American liberal hate speech, they change the channel. Because of this, radio stations have no viable reason to air these people. Why would a company with any good business sense air a radio show that no one is going to listen to?
The term "media" also goes way beyond talk radio. In fact, with the exception of Fox news, talk radio is really the only other conservative voice out there (except for those of us who bother to read BOOKS). TV news and printed news are clearly left biased, the reason conservatives dominate radio is because when we listen to the radio in the car or elsewhere, we are more interested in current events than the latest top 40 hits. Producers know a strong market when they see one.

She may be listed as a "left-winged" journalist, but has she specifically called herself that or been labeled that because what she reports is in conflict with "right-wingers"? Everyone has biases, but if you approach something with an open mind and a willingness to follow the facts where they lead, then you can limit your biases. Here, and at other times, she has been asked to state her opinion (which she usually backs up with facts), and on Democracy Now! she also sticks to the facts.

I have become more and more frustrated with the difficulties I have to endure just to get a couple slivers of unadulterated truth and fact about what is, and has been, going on. I just personally find that some of her presentations, with hosts especially, are not entirely based upon supporting evidence for an underlying agenda. I think she raises alot of questions that should be answered, but I wish SHE, olr another journalist, would be the one to answer many of them...

I don't know what she means by taking back the media, but I would suggest focusing more on education, getting more in-tuned with the political scene. This is not without good reason. Radio is a business, and when there is no demand, there is no market. The truth is, when most Americans turn on their radio and hear anti-American liberal hate speech, they change the channel. Because of this, radio stations have no viable reason to air these people. Why would a company with any good business sense air a radio show that no one is going to listen to?

The term "media" also goes way beyond talk radio. In fact, with the exception of Fox news, talk radio is really the only other conservative voice out there (except for those of us who bother to read BOOKS). TV news and printed news are clearly left biased, the reason conservatives dominate radio is because when we listen to the radio in the car or elsewhere, we are more interested in current events than the latest top 40 hits. Producers know a strong market when they see one.
