Hayate no Gotoku is awesome. I'd tier this with toradora, cowboy bepop and the like. Story is random like Lucky Star, yet unlike the latter, each episode somehow has plot, though detached to other eps.

hina is adorable and is a girl that is hard not to fall for,but the girl you mentioned,whose is name is athena,is hayate's first mistress and they fell in love with each other when they were six yrs old,and she remained in Hayate's heart ever since,that makes them pretty unbreakable I suppose,but let's wait for the rest of the story!
