@MrElmacannon you have waisred my time reading your message aswell, there was nothing on the tittle that said DEEP UFOS, you obviously found yourself in the wrong place, that we know so far!!!!
@MrElmacannon AXEFLYERFV you are so right lol if only there were wise people like us and not ignorant. Rock N Roll forever. UFO! But MRELM you are sooo ignorant how are you that dumb?
most people seem to associate UFO with heavy metal songs but to me Queen of the Deep, Time on my Hands, Lipstick Traces move me more than the rest. i have made a CD of all the great UFO ballads. In my opinion the greatest line up of musicians out of the 70's!!
Why this song never gets any mention is beyond me. It was good enough to close out this great album, but to my (limited) knowledge is (was) never played out and is just a blip in the consciousness of ufo fans. It's got great riffs, heavy part, mystic/soft part and phil puts a great vocal. and I personally think the lead here is better then rock bottom (well not the stin version)...
I will always love this song! it reminds me of that girl...listened to ufo a lot at the time I met her and now that things did not happen the way I planned them, the memory of her will always remain in this song for me...
thank you for uploading this classic song from the mid-70s. i'm a junior high punk again smoking a joint at lunchtime so i can sleep peacefully through typing class with visions of being anywhere else but there. yes, a little weed and queen of the deep did the trick. it's nice to recall those fond moments from 35 years ago. maybe that's why i'm in japan now and not the usa. that album had a way of letting you know that there were worlds yet to be discovered. thanks for the chance to recollect.
Happiness come on the radio............yeah it did when the college stations in Chitown cranked this album cut over the airwaves. Those early days of FM radio were king.
What a fantastic cut off this album. The whole thing was a masterpiece! Kids today listen to one tune from an album. It will never be the same. Thanks for posting this!!
Years and years(high school) ago I was driving to work early in the morning. I was going up a hill with trees on both sides and as I was topping the hill, the sun "not to bright" came into my eyes. The beginning of this song was on and the mood was very strange.I was having problems with the girlfriend at the time and this song was like it was speaking to me. The way it starts out. "With the sun up in my eyes. With a love thats got to strong to hold". Remember that feeling to this day,25 yrs ago

This song is so beautiful. Full of love and emotions.
It's such a shame that, here in Brasil, some of the kids doesn't even know who are Michael Schenker, Phil Mogg, Pete Way and Andy Parker.

@bluerfoot The lead guitar at 2.57, the first real guitar shred! kick ass guitar, way before it's time. Schenker always seem to pick the right notes.

By the way. That event in my life and lyrics of the song were in synch. It was really weird. I'll never forget that moment.
Very strange. Around this time I was just getting hooked on UFO and this album.
