Every video I see of California makes me wish I was there instead of Chattanooga The CA-55 Interchange is jaw dropping with traffic merging on both sides.

BTW any plans on doing I-605?

@19crash84: I happen to personally like the city of Chattanooga. And, of course, the drive along I-24, out toward and over Monteagle Pass is pretty thrilling.

I actually do have footage of I-605 on one of my backup hard drives, but have not gotten around to it (yet). I eventually plan on having every freeway from Metro Los Angeles, up on YouTube. Thanks for your inquiry.

This is probably your second best video in my opinion. Great music to back the coverage of a great freeway. I saw a street view of this freeway on google and it was packed with traffic! This allows people to admire the freeway, not the traffic! I'll definitely want to find a Sunday to drive this! Thanks!

Early sunday mornings is the best time to record an urban freeway such as L.A./ Orange county. Saturday morning would be 2nd best. Weekdays forget about it! :)

It looks like you used the peak month volumes. The average 2007 volume for I-405 @ Seal Beach was 397,000 AADT. Still mindboggling though.

I-405 through the OC is super sexy. I don't know what it is, but the concrete, the nice green scenery, the beautiful HOV lane, and the 10 lane Goodness make for a sexy freeway.
