I can find no other device that does exactly what I want to do - mix Nuendo 3 using 24 real faders and record the automation on Nuendo, and use the transport controls and pan pots without a mouse. Was this difficult to setup? Must you mix from some template or can you just mix whichever MIDI or audio tracks you wish?

What´s the point? So you mean you don´t use yours just cause of this? :) I´ll sure pick up used gear only if it works flawless. I use 2 Behringer BCF2000 but always with small problems. I´ve looked up Euphonix MC mix, but pricy. US2400 has 24 faders but I want to know much more..

dude i just bought mines i drove 310 miles and pay 800 i will do a video for it soon just give me a week i think they should remake it and call it us 24pro control and make it reason record friendly

Nope. Strictly a controller. For mic/line inputs, I've got another mixer, and a whole bunch of mic pre's.

Imal 355: you can also have firewire controler and interface for record more chanel in separated tracks. USB just send in computer stereo mix down. You can look for M-audio projectmix - 8 channel interface and controller. (if you are interested, i have one for sale):D

what interface/preamp do you use with us2400?

My interface is a Motu 896HD and I have several preamps including a DBX 586, a Presonus Digimax FS, a custom built 2 channel solid state pre and the pre's on my Mackie 1402vlz and the Motu.
