How about having the device on the table and not moving it around all the time? Nauseating to watch.

Meego itself, at least on that device and as a developer preview, is quite far from ready. No wonder Nokia jumped ship. No time to wait for a couple of years for it to be ready to be used and already old-fashioned. Then again, it's Linux. It usually is.

Meego = Linux in Mobile devices..Linux evolved very much slow during the initial phase..So is the Meego..Meego is just inthe 5th min of a long journey..I wam waiting Meego!!!!!!!!

@vssvarun I used to own a Maemo device and that was very nice, but Nokia chose to abandon all the stuff they had and start over with Maemo. Apparenty that required more work than they expected.

@hhmah The video selection screen of the Media Player supports portrait mode, but I'm not sure if video playback supports or not, since it's not working well in this Release.

A few issues. I was told that developers aren’t going to release any MeeGo version for n900. Is it true?

And second. My English also isn’t so perfect. I could understand you perfectly but I could not make out (because I was doing other things at the same time) what you told about n9 and n50 (n15?). Are they powered by MeeGo 1.2 or rather Maemo 6? And what about further development of Maemo for n900? Can I expect another release?

@humbledude85 Yes i also heard that nokia is not officially releasing meego for n900 but community will get something working,,,, and n9 is coming with symbian anna os not Meego...(u can search for n9 promo, icons in promo r telling its symbiam not meego)... i wozz also expecting New OS for n900 but nokia totally dissapoint me... and there ill be no maemo 6... meamo is now a close story....

@Taal3i No, N9 will be MeeGo. It doesn't mean anything that the icons look like Symbian. Nokia choose the same graphic style for both OS.

@SquallML well Dude i don't Know but i just said by seeing its Icon.. and the 2nd thing is, that meego is under heavy development nokia can't release the promo of any mobile having meego operating system.. well its my opinion lets see with which operating system n9 will release

@humbledude85 There will be a final release version of the MeeGo 1.2 Developer Edition for N900, but that's only for developers, not for consumers.

N9 and N950 are rumour devices that are likely to be released by Nokia soon.
