I am not a big Ottawa fan at all, but I was suprised that they got that far and that was the closest they came in years. The cup is a tough thing to lose.

But what I think should of happened, its only my opinion, but since Alfredsson, Captain of the Sens went through a hard time losing it, I think he as a captain should of won the Conn Smythe for trying his hardest as captain for it. I thought Alfreddson did great that year.

Jealousy. I think because the Ducks are still one of the newer teams in the NHL and they're from CA. People don't respect California hockey or west coast hockey and when the Ducks are a team who are good and can take out any team in the NHL (when they're consistent), people are gonna get jealous. Plus the whole Disney past doesn't help.

i can't believe it!, 2004, 2006, and 2007, canadian teams made the final, but couldn't win it!, carolina vs. edmonton was the best series, they went to game 7! which made it more intense! but im an ottawa senators fan, but i gotta congradulate the anaheim ducks on there great sucess in 2007.

Had Ottawa won the cup, the whole entire city would be in a gridlock, and the celebrations would go on for days.
