Thank you Steve for sharing pointers for agents who would like to make every house look great, but that may be selling a home with a purchase price (and commission) that will make LESS money for the agent than than the cost to hire a professional for ONE photo shoot.
Great tips! I thought my real estate pics were pretty good, but aparantly I was doing it all wrong! I'm going to be trying out your techniques this weekend.
@sandy1954 The point of this video was to help the majority of agents who are taking their own pictures and are not hiring pros. We recommend that agents hire pros to do their photography, but obviously that does not mean they will. Why not offer some assistance to improve everyone's photography since this is the case? As I said in the video, if you are using multiple flashes or a a pro/enthusiast this video is not for you. I disagree that the shots look like crap compared to the other pics
@techsavvyagent Why not offer bad advice using poor examples to those who do not hire a pro? Because it's a DISSERVICE to homeowners who will often see a 3% or higher return when a professional real estate photographer is involved in the sale of a property. Bad Picts hurt listings. They get fewer calls, sit on the market longer, and sell for lower amounts. Is that what RE Agents are supposed to do? Encourage agents to hire a pro REP and create the best marketing materials.
Thanks for the tips Steve, I found them very hopeful. I shoot all my short sales personally, so this goes a long way!
