VD had 12td's a few yrs ago and he wasn't target nearly that many times. Don't you think if the 49ers actually threw at VD 100+ he could break that record??? Vernon can actually outrun defenders Gronkowski just plays off of height mismatches that's why the giants sent that 6'4 linebacker in the secondary and he picked brady when he tried to go deep to Gronkowski. Davis would have blew past that guy and into the endzone.

Harbaugh routinely listed players as questionable when he knew full well they we're going to start. It's called strategy. Also It didn't seem to be stopping him too much seeing as how he wasn't running too much faster than he usually does.

There have been plenty of highlights of tightends, fullbacks even strong running backs dragging 1 or 2 DBs for a few yards. So this test it pretty realistic they are just giving the type of numbers they put out doing it. Vernon can squat well over 500lbs im sure he can drag 360lbs.

I love this show, but sometimes they get downright unrealistic. I understand it's nearly impossible to be totally realistic in these simulations, but the whole "he could drag both Saints cornerbacks" thing is totally ridiculous. They are making that statement with no proof, dragging two dummies with no resistance isn't the same. In real life those corners would be ACTIVELY resisting, and utilizing leverage against him in the opposite way, it's totally different. Very unrealistic exercise.

The show stated that he could "drag both Saints cornerbacks," and did the study in a very unrealistic fashion. My problem is the fact they are stating it as fact, not even making any comment that it isn't an exact test. Seeing how far he can drag two dummies means nothing to how far he could drag two people of equal weight who are incredibly strong themselves, and actively resisting him.
