  • What piano does Johan use? Is it a Roland? It sounds fantastic!

  • I, too, am an old boogie piano player and to really listen to Johan's crisp, accurate progressions just make me laugh out loud with happy admiration....Albert Lee, too, is an absolute wizard on that guitar...WOW!!!

  • get lost xfactor... real people, real instruments: REAL MUSIC!!!

  • You are listening to 2 of the best musicians on the planet .....Albert is by far the finest guitar player you will ever hear ...and my friend on the Keys is fabulous.

  • It just doesn't get any better......

  • The Refreshments will be playing at the SXSW festival in Austin Texas in March!!!

  • I haven't seen Albert Lee doing anything for a while, this is great. One of my all-time favorite guitar heroes and Swedish rockin' swing.

  • I couldn't agree more...exactly how you sum it up !!!! Beanicus

  • This is rock 'n roll heaven!

Albert Lee even looks like an angel with his sweet smile!

  • Albert Lee is ONE COOL DUDE!!!!!!

  • A lot try, but they are far away from the magic man, Antoine " Fats" Domino. Thats for sure !

  • Albert Lee's guitar picking here is out of this world. and the band are tighter than a ducks arse. This is rock and roll at its best.

  • I love this sound more please

  • A great moment of great music! Famous!

  • Video was kinda put together like a Bose infomercial!

  • That´s is my life, thank´s.

  • Refreshments and Albert Lee are married in heaven... Wooeeeiiii...

  • Treasure!

  • Great music presented with great talent!

  • Rock on ! Brilliant

  • be sure: rock 'n' roll don't die. I'm in my sixties too, and I like especially the unbelievable Johan Blohm. I never saw him before. Thank you for posting it Mr. or Mrs. Thejukeboxen! Where ever you come from, I'm from Berlin, Germany

    It's awesome.

Watch J.L.Lewis, Fats Domino or Chuck Berry at YouTube. I enjoy it again and again......

  • IMPRESIONANTE ESTO ES ROCK & ROOLL

  • albert lee has to be the the best guitar picker ever, look at "country boy", brian.

  • Real songs on real instruments !!!!

  • Nothing against nobody, but the piano player seems too seriouse, not saying that he is, I am just used to seeing the player off his seat or shaking from the sheer feeling , lord knows I would.

  • @panbread89 It's the way he is. Look at other videos, I don't care he plays great.

Not everyone fits in that form people like to call "normal".

  • 1.21 gigawatts!!!!

  • I'm just discovering the Refreshments...first w/ Johan Blohm, now I find out about this ALBERT LEE and the Refreshments...GO...go...GO!! Beanicus

  • Here is a great remake of a Fats Domino song. Albert Lee does a great job on the guitar and of course, Johann Blohm rocks on the piano

  • Fantastic stuff.

  • I remember first hearing Albert in the very early 80's on a Dave Edmunds album. What a mind blower!! What Country picker doesn't play a bit like Albert these days? The guy is a monster!!! Great great pos and damn thanks!! ~KK

  • super !bravo !!!

  • Don't get me wrong though the bloke playing the piano is an outstanding pianoist!

  • That piano has an awful sound. You can tell it's an electric one! I suggest you sould get something slightly better because it cheapens your act. This is comming from someone who plays the piano!

  • @quizpubbob

Have to agree there a good Steinway(like they play on Mountain Stage) would

have been the way to go

Still a great perfomance though from Johann,Albert the band. Its geniune rock and roll tempo which is not common today.

To quote Keith Richards 'anyone can play rock but you need a University degree

    to play roll'

  • Albert Lee you is God!!!

  • Albert Lee you is God!!!

  • EmmyLou Harris has said that when she gets to the Pearly Gates she can proudly say that she once played rhythm guitar with a band that included Albert Lee.

  • albert lee solo=unbeatable

  • Awesome!

  • Fantastic Rocker ! Thanks for the share Jim !

    D

  • i think "very good music" is quite an apropriate description...=)

  • Albert Lee has played with the alltime greats , they all know a great musian when they see one. Keep it up Albert

  • one of the hreatest ever, and that band... stunning.

  • This is GREAT!!!!

  • True professionals.

When you see and hear such musicians it all starts to fit together, rap is surely crap.

  • @naybobdenod Tho I agree with you - this would still be great if rap didn't exist.

  • @Sointula2 Agreed lol

  • aaaawesoooome!!! that's true rock 'n' roll, you can definitely see these guys ARE rock 'n' roll!

  • Good Rock'n Roll here in Boras/Sweden

    wiht AL and The Refreshments.

  • hey oap's ??? im 26 and love this as much as you, its an appreciation of music as much as an era hehe love it

  • Go Albert! Show these kids how us English OAPs can still rock!

  • It just doesn't get any better than this!!! Here we've got one of my favorite guitar players Albert Lee with this "monster from outer space" piano player, named Johann Blohm-- (this guy almost makes the band levitate off the stage). This is rock and roll folks, to me, at it's best!! Marc Trainor.

  • What a band! These guys can play rock and roll - in any order!!

  • not as fucking boring as you.

  • damn good (Y)

  • wish you could hear Buddy Fite, rather hard to get a listen but, well worth the effort.

I knew him in Portland, quite the musician.

    Sorry to have lost him.

  • found a couple of his tracks here real good. Nice when you know the artist. I've met Tommy a couple of times.

  • A true master of the guitar, thanks 26a6a46.

    You were right, he's terrific!

Now, I have another great one to listen to.

    Excellent!!

  • Okay, Brit, I'll give you that.

However, the original was taken from an American.

Music is universal and we each are proud of our own.

    It's all good.

  • Thanks friend I agree. I just love good guitar, I am a brit but live in oz. If you like good guitar try Tommy Emmanual , An aussie acoustic player,he is top in that field. maybe start with Guitar Boogie. Hope you like him.

  • Sure music has a country, America's the best, most popular music is from America.

Does anyone listen to anything else?

It may be universal but, every song starts someplace.

Probably because america has races from everywhere.

DAMN STRAIGHT BOOGIE FOR SURE IS AMERICAN..

  • takes a brit to play it well

  • Wicked band!! The Bass player has got the groove nailed, who is he?

All star line-up, watch and learn guys and gals, this is how its done.

  • These Swedes can rock (the Brit did pretty good too :) )!

Thanks for helping my country's music live on!

  • Incredible - had the pleasure of meeting him several times! One of my heroes!

  • nothing like Great American Music!

    One of our best exports.

    rock on!

  • Music has no country.

  • i really appreciate that he can share the spotlight. there are great musicians on this stage and he just waits his turn. a master and a gentleman.

  • more than good. albert lee and the others (which in comparison to albert i didn't know yet) are simply geeenius!!!

Iused to watch Dave Edmunds, Stray Cats, Albert Lee with Hogans Heroes and think that this would be around for ever. Now, all I have is YouTube - lol. I love my history. Fans of the Arctics and the like will nver know what we had. Mikey xx
