Dude! what's your obsession with Nutnfancy? Are you really a USN ER DOC? If so, you have WAY more experience than he, and I'd rather hear your professional views than his campfire bits and pieces. Those guys are dime a dozen. Getting a Doc's view is far more real and valuable. I'm waiting to learn from you. Please leave the Nutnfancy stuff behind, it limits you. I've learned from you, can't wait to do more.
you don't need to go out and buy denatured alcohol to clean labels off of the bags, you can use isopropyl alcohol. I even tried Polish vodka. they both worked for me. The Isopropyl worked much easier than the 'Sobieski'
Stumpworthy - You are absolutely correct! I just use denatured alcohol because it is always readily available on my workbench since I use a lot of shellac. Any alcohol will work . . . especially Polish Vodka!
This video is AWESOME! Thanks for showing step by step how you do stuff. I hate it when someone mentions in their video's how they did something but then never show us how. Keep up the great work I subscribed to your channel today.
I love the label wiping you do on the bags. Always kinda wondered about the importance of everything being steril in a first aid kit. It's just common sense that if you take a steril object out of a steril package in an environment that is not steril, that object will immediately lose it's steril status. So unless you're talking about doing work in an operating room or something like that, clean is as good as it needs to be. Thanks for pointing that out. Keep up the great work, Doc.
tabre - Excellent insight. Being as clean as possible is of paramount importance, however, as you mention maintaining sterility in the field is difficult if not impossible by definition.
I have used the Adventure Medical Kits ultralight watertight .9 kits, and those are the identical plastic bags they use as well. loksaks. They work great.
whiskeymedic - well, not sure how to respond to you after such an unintelligent comment. I've had that watch for well over 15 years. It was given to me by a good friend of wife and I when I was accepted to medical school. You just lost respect my friend . . .
No problemo 'bout the re-upload Doc. Nothing's changed: still 5* and still awesome ^^ Good idea with the denaturated alcohol. Waiting for more vids from you man.
