I used Maxon's Cinema 4D, and recorded the music using Reason 3.0 - overall I spent more than 300 hours modelling, animating and scoring this film. THEN came the rendering!

I kinda taught myself whilst doing a Multimedia Design course in the UK, this was my final project. You can get a load of free tutorials online just by Googling "Cinema 4D Tutorials" and picking the ones that suit you. It's a lengthy process but very rewarding in the end! Good luck!
