  • You butchered it :-(

  • First of all for the person who who said that Cubans are a disgrace to the Spanish race can kiss my black Cuban ass and bring a flashlight because you're going to need one. Cubans are one of the most extraordinary people's of the world. You are a racist hater. Somos Cubanos con una mescla de Africa y Espana.

  • @raqubn100 I'm a white/Cuban-American (half-Hungarian....weird, huh?) and I agree, the Cubans are an amazing group of people who are constantly doing their best to make it, they deserve respect, and Cubans are so diverse too, their diversity speaks to their excellence.

  • Favor no habla de cubanos

  • I am a cuban American that speaks spanish from hialeah. Where 96 percent of people speak cuban spanish as there first language. The second cuban guy was good. dont listen to the white man or ull be laughed at.

  • si en realidad es un payaso que no sabe nada del slang cubano. terrible transnlation

  • 'Que Bola Asere'

    'Pa al carajo'

el puto blanko ese es un gran payaso. didnt even get some of the shit right.

    COME MIERDA!!!

  • Puedo entender el agcento de mexico y espana pero el agcent de los cubanoamericanos es muy dificil para mi =(

  • cuban slang jajaja

  • Exactly what I was searching for. Old guys rule.

  • "Ay Que Rico"........"como es la COSA" meaning how is everything...."Que Bola Asere".....your "amigos" need to teach you better

  • Socio is a term of endearment that came to Cuba from the Canary Islands of Spain with Canarian immigration to Cuba. Also it's "Que Vola Asere" you stress the A on Vola, and its "como esta la cosa", also it's "ay que rico", meaning "oh how nice" or "oh how tasty".

  • dude that was great

  • One of them should be...Ay que rico! like....How delicious! (literally) How great! how good! etc.. Here is an expression you probably haven't heard, but through it out there too. "Le ronca la malanga." Ask your Cuban friends on the Island to translate that one for you. I'm also Cuban but grew up stateside in Los Angeles. Came stateside at the age of 5. These are just things I heard the folks say around the house.

  • Lol,so funny.I come from Cuba and I laughed a lot.

  • SOCIO-my friend, COMPAI -the real meaning is actually when you are the godfather of your friends kid, "those 2 words lost me" .....AHI QUE RICO- is really good, COMO ESTA LA COSA- how's everything, PAL CARAJO- it depends on how u use it u can send somebody there,or another meaning ,fuck everything ...lol

  • LMAO this is too funny, i love it when white people are so open to learning spanish with some flavor, can't get more flavor than Cuban spanish!

btw its "Pal Carajo" and "Que Bola Acere" for spelling purposes, but good job keep it up!

  • me voy pal gao means:i going to my home.....

  • and you are good at talking cuban

  • and we use it like u guys with he have not and for shorter havent thats how ,

  • u have misspell all the phrases is como esta la cosa, and ella es un manguo no tu es mango because ur literally saying you is manguo, and i carrico is not like that is a que rico,it means how delicious or how sexy, and another is como esta la cosa ,u dont say como es al gosta because gosta is not a word and the meaning of the phraces.how you doing or how you been, and is que bola hacere, and is not pol carajo is pal carajo ,it actually suppose to right like this para el carajo but we

  • "Tu es bonita"... en serio?? por dio.

  • QUE BOLA, ASERE!

  • lmao \!!!! wow lol

I have to give it to you ... you are hilarious!!!! lol

you did a good job though

  • uhm , im cuban, and dis was a very nice TRY.=)

  • The Cuban"Spanish" was just murdered with this video

  • a few corrections:

    Todo en talla

    Tu eres un mango

    ay que rico!

    como esta la cosa

    que bola asere?

    vete pa'l carajo

  • @nuriana123 o , Cómo va la vaina mano?

  • @OvertownWhiteB33136

pa' chuparse los dedos, bro, oye tu eres colombiano con todo eso de la vaina?

  • Pal carajo EXAMPLE: Vete pal carajo. means: go to hell

  • gringo

  • "Como es la gosta"??? Actually is "Como esta la cosa" which means "How's everything"

  • A lot of Spanish words hurt in this production, nice try come pinga!! pero eres tremendo fula, come mierda.

  • Comment removed

  • fool! its "Que bola, acere?" which means "Whats up, dawg/bro?"

  • pol carajo lol, Pal Carajo

  • lmao

  • tu eres estupido :9 yu need tu $ay it the correct way maricon LoL!

  • lmfao!!! que bola asede

  • lmao diz nikka made me laugh

  • hey buddy u did a good try, I guess if u back my country 2 more times u'll learn a little bit more! but it's nice seeing people enjoying our slang. however is not proper speaking like that! I'd like to see where did u go n' which guys u hanged out with down my island! good luck.

  • el no sabe nada jajaja

  • tu eres un mango

    como esta la cosa

    que bola asere

    pal carajo

  • MANY spanish words were harmed in the making of this video. It's not "mericomb" it's maricon. And I suggest you don't say that because it translates to "faggot" as you may well know is a very offensive word. And us Cubans are known for our short temper.

  • dude

    ur an idiot

why did u even make this vid?

  • jajaja que cague de risa!!!

  • como es la gosta.. its actually "como esta la cosa.. its like.. wht's going on? sumething like that

  • jajajajaja men u have no clue what they telling you, if the telling you maricon that's mean gay or if they say vete pal carajo mean fuck your self JAJAJAJA just for the record I am mexican and I never says ay caramba I say no mames! or que poca madre

  • se dice "Tu eres un mango" y no tu es un Mango"

  • vete pal carajo hahaha 2:55 lol

  • lol the funny thing is that most of those words are just mispronunciations of spanish words.for example "compay" would be "compadre" (which does mean buddy, or sumthin like that) mispronounced.

  • no... we use compay. and he said it right.

  • Rofl.. I'm Cuban, and I've never heard the term "tu es mango" in my life... Ever!

  • Tu eres un mango es una frase que usan las mujeres para decir que un hombre luce bien (está bueno), normalmente solo la usan las mujeres, no los hombres.

  • really..??? its very used now.. how long since u last visit cuba..?? well.. its not actually "tu es un mango".. its tu ERES un mango.. its used when we like sumbody, either a girl or a boy, although girls use it the most.. when the guy/girl is handsome or pretty.. mango represents delicious, juicy. XD

  • ya i didn't really trust this guy

  • yeah.. hehe..

  • if u go to cuba and say this they will laugh at you. only cubans have their own slang. is like going to the the hood and try to act black. it just doesn't happen.

  • maldito grino de pinga, metete el dedo mama tranca.

  • The Indians were a very fascinating influence in Cuba. It's common knowledge that they were all wiped out, but now there are many people who say they follow Taino beliefs.

Hatuey was an Indian chief, he's known as Cuba's first national hero. The beer, I believe, is made by Bacardi... yeah, pretty good beer for a hot day on the beach.

  • Izzysou- Yeah, according to the story I heard, Hatuey did something pretty amazing in defiance of some oppression (god, Cuba is always being oppressed by SOMEBODY). BTW, like most families with money, the Bacardis fled when Fidel took over. Bacardi is one of the big backers of the American embargo on Cuba. Not too surprisingly, the embargo keeps Bacardi from having to compete with Havana Club. An interesting side note: Desi Arnaz was a member of the Barcardi family.

  • i think theres no Taino beliefs they were pretty wiped out im a cuban

  • That's what I thought too, but do some research online and you'll see that that might not be the case. Anyway, I'd like to know. I grew up thinking there were no elements of Taino culture left. Let me know if you find anything.

  • one question: r u a cuban n grew up there?

  • Si, azere.

  • ok,well then thats news for me i hadnt a clue

  • Hey, I never heard about it either, but all of a sudden I'm reading about all these people that say they follow Taino belief! It's new to me too! I grew up thinking they were all wiped out. It definitely deserves to be investigated closely, don't you think?

  • I thought the african stuff were all the ancestral cultists we had. That must be some crazy occult stuff in Cuba!!!I got a dude who definitevly would be interested in that, but i personally prefer the mayans, they r like the indian royalty in southamerica, our poor tainos were too weak to survive,at the end of it all we ended bein africans n spaniards or else,(gotta say i prefer the european ancestors),n we can brag that we r latins with zero indian features...

  • I like both the African and Spaniard ancestry - they mixed in such a great way in Cuba - it's much more interesting than Spain itself, and I really dislike the way Spaniards speak. Many Cubans came from Galicia (Gallegos).

And I agree about the Mayans. I've got to many ruins in Mexico - fascinating!

  • Many Cubans came from the Canary islands. Have you heard someone from the canaries speak?

  • Actually, I was reading somewhere that the Carib Indians who previously inhabited Cuba also dropped the last syllables in words (it's not just the "S"), like Cubans: "para" becomes "pa'", etc.

  • he left out consorte but again its more like ebonics........compay and socio are heard throughout latin america.

  • Heh heh, cute.

  • He and I would probably meet in a bar in Havana while drinking Mojitos, and all the while I'd be laughing 'cause I'd be in on the constant flurry of inside jokes where he was always the target.

But I think, all in all, we would get along.

  • Thanks dude, I feel so "CUBAN" now.

  • Se volvio loco el gringo este ... conyo (LOL)!

  • when you speak Spanish, and has been there more than 10 times, there are a lot more phrases and slang

    greets

    fred

  • dude i am cuban: it is TU ERES UN MANGO !!! but was reallly funny to see you saying that...you have a really funny acent...

  • where are you from man

  • Thanks man. Some cool stuff

  • lol the last two phases you spelled wrong is

    * Que bola acere and

    * pal carajo

  • A for effort:) We salute you.

  • a man cubans appreciate americans that r nice like u n not racist u know cubans n white people get along good because we both r very well educated n we come from cuba n we take advantage miami is own by cubans n we even got cubans in the white house n running for mayor n everything.

  • cubans and white people get along? alot of cubans are white, r u one of those that think hispanic is a race like the puertoricans

  • 65% of the population in Cuba is white,n those who come to USA r mostly whites, but somehow they call us hispanics n not whites, hispanic is an ethnicity not a race,i can live with it.

  • My friend that data is wrong!!!

more than 50% of cubans are mulatos or mixed

    12 to 15% Blacks(real blacks,even also mixed)

    about 30-40% mayb white.

    1% chinese .

that says that Cuban population is more colored than white.

but for political and other reason they want to show that white are more, yes whites have more the control, that is all.

  • its from wikipedia,whatever

  • u r totally rite!!! there r more blacks in cuba..

i hate being this freaking white.. :/....

when i say i am from cuba..everyone's reaction is like.. "WOHOO!!.. R U SERIOUS..?? HOW COME U R SOO WHITE..??"

hehe.. well, my point, it is true, u see more blacks and mixed than white ppl in cuba

  • Tu eres un mango Not TU es mango god dam gringos =.=

  • Leave us gringos alone. We grew up with English, not Spanish (or both like you obviously have). So you gotta give this guy credit for making this.

    FK

  • Blacks in Cuba contribute to the slang. Sort of like here.

  • another one would be CONO!!....CONO=DAMM

Also short is NO with a ~ over the N so it sound like NIOOO!! drag out the O sound if you see a pretty lady...a fullout CONO would be in angry or if startled etc. CONO is a very verstile word

  • pal carajo=FUCK OFF

  • Appologies for my lack of accuracy with these words. I'm not at all fluent in Spanish. And Cuban friends taught me these phoeneticaly, not writing them down for me, so there's bound to be errors. This video was just one of 60 or so ideas that I've had to date & decided to make a vid out of. The last guy says he's Cuban. A current Habanero? Or more likely of Cuban decent or who fled in 1959? I like the people who are there NOW! they're the ones who taught me. Make your OWN video & get it right!

  • jaja..que pinga es esta bobosera??? i'm cuban man..i hope you don't ever visit cuban speaking like that. mericomb?? lmao

  • Tu es Mango?

you need to make some serious corrections and repost this video. And by the way, I lived in Mexico for 15 years and I've never heard a Mexican saying Ay Caramba! Mexicans don't say Ay Caramba. The only one I've heard saying that is Bart Simpson, but that ain't Mexican, I tell you.

  • dude is not tu es mango its tu heres un mango and is not ai carrico is hay que rico que bola hacere mean waht is up -.- and is not pol carajo is pal carajo

  • jajaja, the end is the best
