They were a good band years ago and were fun because they were so coked up, but Axl managed to grab the name GNR legally and that was probably the last straw for an increasingly dysfunctional band. Considering what a clown Axl has become since then, it's hard to believe that Slash and the rest of the crew want anything to do with him. Slash is doing well by himself and with Velvet Revolver. It will be interesting to see who shows up at Hall of Fame in a couple of months.
