  • rigging IS armatures. lol

  • Alt G, Alt R, Alt S G=location R=rotation s=scale.

  • wow a rig like that makes the animation so much more easier- nice work

  • Thank you very much for posting these.

  • very nice

  • hi very good work there

i am just starting out with animation in blender after using wings 3d to make static models for the past year i would like love to make models like these but don know whetgher my specs are good enough

    dual core 1.6x2

    1gb ddr2

    256 nvidia 7900 pci (e)

    160 gb sata hdd

what work is this system suited for thanx in advance

  • Hey, I've been using blender for years and years, The most important thing is your processor speed and ram amount, 1gb is fine, and dual core is good! (make sure to set the "threads" setting in blenders main interface to 2,4 or 8) and your mem cache to say 640 (user prefs section). Should be fine for character design etc, if you want to do -very- complex scenes learn the blender compositor (inbuilt) and you can layer items and scenes. Blender is a low resource using 3D app, it's very efficient!

  • How about 8gb ram, Quad core- Nvdia 9800

good enought LOL 24 inch monitor- Sooped up LED fan, ultimate motherboard --

  • thnx man. I've been waiting for a tutorial like that for so long, can't wait to see the tutorial done. I'm starting to model some complex characters now and still coudn't figure out a way to move the head and back the way i want.

  • Well sir, in that case Head and back rigging right after my finger rig, which shall be up soon.
