I think I'm getting one in my left...a spot on the gums show signs like a tooth trying to break through but it's still soft like the gums and swollen like hell, hurts.
OMG mine hasnt even broken the skin its just swollen as fuck, and i cant bite down and im in so much pain, im taking painkillers every 4 hours omg, its terrible, my face is swollen and so is my gums and cheek got an emergency appointment in just over 12 hours, thankgod, hopefully i can get some anti biotics to bring it down and then think about having it removed. I hope i can get an general anastetic as im so so scared of having teeth pulled when awake! eek plus they would need to cut it out...
hey guys i had a bad taste over my tooth before and after the extraction after not as bad, but still there. what can i do!? to make this smell go away. it's causing me horrible breath
i got two removed under general anesthetic with painkillers and anti-inflammatories for after all for free cos i live in england!!! i work and pay tax but i am a single parent so the government gives free dental care for people like me, children, elderly and people on low incomes. any everyone no matter how much you earn gets free healthcare. hurrah for england!! :)
You forgot to mention that many people wait months to receive treatment, sometimes doctors even avoid treating someone properly because your system doesn't pay enough. Dental care is one of the worst elements of the NHS just Google the countless news stories on lines around the block for dental care.
@KiloByte69 you sound like an ignorant american afraid of death panels and all that other nonsense faux news was spouting on about. gotta love a country whose infant mortality rate is right up there with third world shitholes. you should be the last to say anything.
I don't even watch Fox News, and everything I've said is true. I've seen plenty of non-Fox news articles and heard from plenty of people in Canada and Europe. By the way our infant mortality rate is only about 1.5 above the EU average you dumbass. Comparable to third world shitholes? Talk about ignroance. LOL
Also I might add that a reason why our rate is a bit higher is that we use cutting edge technology to birth premature babies more often than other countries do. Sadly more of these babies are likely to die due to their circumstances. So in contrast, we deserve more credit for trying harder.
@KiloByte69 Sure whatever floats your boat. Enjoy your hmo's and quacks that are in it only for themselves. Doctor's that will turn patients away because they don't have insurance. Like 30 million Americans. Like 10% of your population. And you are talking about Britain's health care. How does it look up there on your high horse?
@KiloByte69 Show me the proof.. I would like to see that. The states has a notorious reputation for one of the worlds shittiest health care systems. And dumbass? Don't get me started on the comparison between education in the states and other countries. Isn't it like 40% of your population can't read? Just another mindless american spouting useless drivel that they heard from their mommas brothers cousin about something they are obviously ignorant of.
By the way, you retarded canucks can't even handle the loss of a fucking hockey game without destroying your own cities. What a bunch of braindead hippies. Try doing some research next time before you criticize the #1 nation in the world dipshit.
Do your own research you lazy ass, the evidence is easy to find. Only the braindead socialists criticize America's healthcare system. Each year we receive tens of thousands of medical torusits, many from canada because our healthcare is simply the best. We are the innovators of medical science and technology and we make the most breakthroughs thanks to significant R&D funding. Our country has a 99% literacy rate, again you're pulling "facts" out of your ass you fucking idiot.
When i was little i had a pen cap and i sucked on it and it would be like a suction cup against the inside of my lowwer lip not my gum and a lump formed and i would pop it and pus would come out i would get it all out and i litirly could wait 5 minnutes and it would be full again. When the hole i used to drain it got bigger and i would squeez a bubble of whitish shkin would poke out a little and when i stopped squezzeing it would receed so i squeezed it as hard as i could and ripped it out. :0
wow, you guys are severely gettign overcharged for proceedures lol 3000-5000??!?!?
i live in New Zealand, i got 2 removed 3 days ago... cost me $461.50, thats for a consult(to see what needed doing) an X-ray and removal, so the actual removal only cost like, $350, gotta love the healthcare system here
thanks so much, i was wondering what the hell was wrong with mine. It just started growing became swollen and infected... everything you described here was exactly what im going through... it sucks, a lot.
mine cost me $1600 for removal and they are impacted which requires an oral surgeon.. thats in canadian dollars and i am getting all four removed at once.. ick!
Cost depends on the condition of the wisdom tooth. If it's exposed then it's cheaper. If it's below the gum line then it's more expensive. And if it's below the gum line and pointing horizontal vs pointing up will cost even more.

@Tesseract1976 Bravo on continuing the stereotype that all americans think their system is the best even as it falls around their ears. Dumbass.

You are better off taking a holiday to Asia and going to see a good dentist or go to India and do it at a reputable dentist there.

What is the average cost of having this removed? A friend told me the cost will range from $3000 to $5000 dollars US. Is that right?
