  • I can do that... no I really can't.

  • interesting, however in 2011 this is far from the best on the beach

    south beach frisbee skills 3

wait till we get a good wind than you can hand out the crown....

  • @urkingbinu European championships are gonna be in Karlsruhe this 2011. So probably no beach wind.

And yes, in 2006 the beach in Rome was too soft to play on. So for everybody was pretty difficult to have a quick response on the feet. Anyway are you a beach jammer? I'm not. But I'd like learning.

  • wow

  • Fun...fun...Hey guys seriously your freestyle skills will serve you well when playing TheSport 4X4. Played for over 33 years there is no other more exciting disc sport played on any surface.

    thesport4x4.info

  • i watched this at W W W . TV-Vide . NET . Try it 5 minutes and than fill a free survey to watch 24hours

  • yeah, it's "life is life" by OPUS, an austrian band. We're very proud of that song! haha, enjoy the music and the freestyle!

  • man that guy at 1:22 is a frickin bamf!

  • this song is amazing for this video

  • wow some niceeee tricks in there :D

  • i can do some of that i want to go to europe one day and do that after i get alot more practice in tho where is this, spain?

  • @crablegs21 Italy (Rome) :)

  • wtf!!! nice, didnt know u could do that with a frisbee..

  • Anyone know what they're using for discs? Probably a sky styler?

  • Yes, it's a Skystyler Disc 160 grams made by Discraft, but you can find Wham-O Freestyle Frisbee disc (160gr) that works great too. Don't forget to use the sylicon spray to slick the bottom of the disc to try the nail delay (for instructions search the web and youtube).

    Fabiosis

  • I think 160 gr is to light to be use for freestyle, 200gr is better, knowing that 175gr is used for ultimate!!!

  • @diazeduardodaniel no we use 160 grams for freestyle competition :)

  • @bassandsox Sky Styler 160 grams by Discraft. There is a link in the description.

  • any word on the name to that song?

  • it's "Down under" from Men at Work

  • I thought it was "Live is life" by Opus, at least that's what google says :P

  • @greatinvestor

who would ever listen to your investment ideas?

it's definitely not down under.. do you even know that song?

  • @greatinvestor Dude, you're like as dumb as a cow

  • @greatinvestor down under are u serious??

  • Guts Frisbee FTW!! =)

I wish i could do freestyle, but i just don't have time.

    Ryan

    USA GUTS

  • can you tell me what the name of the song is?

  • 'life is life'

  • If this is the best in europe then well basically If i bought a fribee tommorow, then by the end of the month I would be this good.

  • No please, we would all stop playing then... :D

Have fun with the ball, we'll have fun with the disc.

    Peace,

    Fabiosis

  • hahaha, nice.

  • lol you wish.

  • we just won the ultimate! we gotthe first place in GR 8 Ultimate. it was AWSOME!

  • :O How do they make the Frisbee float and return like a boomerang?

At first at the start I thought the disk was stationary and the guys were just oddly bouncing it....then ...wow...did all sorts of what seemed gravity defying stunts.

  • i only found out about this ultimate frisbee 2day! didnt even no it was a sport! lol

  • There are 11 disciplines in frisbee. This video is about Frisbee Freestyle, but there is also Ultimate, Golf, MTA (Maximum Time Aloft), DDC (double disc court), Guts, Discathon, Accuracy, Distance, Throw Run&Catch, Self Caught Catch.

Anyway everything comes out from the catch and throwing of a disc-shaped object. Freestyle in my opinion is the discipline that express better the main value of frisbee as it has communication between players and great improvisation.

    Fly high..

    Fabiosis

  • It's not so difficult, you just face the wind (if there is some) and then you throw it in a variable angle. The wind will push it back to you as the disc is an amazing shape made for flying and floating.

    Fabiosis

  • LIfe is life..LALALALA..LIfe is life...

fu*k they are good..I MEAN IT!!!!

im going to try 2 learn that too :))))

  • DAMN! THEY R GOOD! and i mean GOOOOOODDDD! REALLLLLLYYYYY GGOOOOODDDDDDD!!!

  • These athletes are only European, and Europe started really freestyling in the year 2003.

Now these athletes got so better I can't believe myself!

    Fabiosis

  • hell yeah i love fribee. this just makes me love it more. expecially ultimate frisbee. i just wish it was a more serious talked about sport

  • ya i love ultimate but every one is like its not a real sport but it takes more skill then base ball

  • I totally agree!

    Fabiosis

  • If we all work together we can really make it big. We are doing great things here in Europe. Just believe it can happen! :)

    Fly high..

    Fabiosis

  • :) agree! i go to Forest Hill PS! we won the first place! YAY!!!!

  • grandissimi ziiiii, fighissimo e stylosissimo sport =) velo dice un vero fan e giocatore

Nice to see its still aliva and kicking

  • NOICE

  • Thanks for the appreciation ;)

Check out the other videos I have online as the tricks were slowed down by the soft sand at European Champs.

    Fabiosis

  • hi wher is name the this song

  • The song is: "Life is life" by Opus

  • taking frisbee to a whole nother level. hahaha crazy frisbee hoolagens. why not just play a normal game

  • Ha ha, sorry halljor, that's just boring but pulling off a flaming gitis with a spin is just awesome! get off your duff and have some fun for only $10... well then there's the silicone spray and the nails/superglue, okay now we're up to about $20 Go for it!

  • they use a proper frisbee but the key to getting a tiny area of contact with the disc and ur finger is a tiny bit of plastic (like a stylus) glued to ur finger nail. check out "the book of cool" to see how to pull off a few of these tricks. still takes hours and hours of practice

  • Yes, we use frisbee nails that we apply on ouur real nail with superglue (it comes off easily when you finish your frisbee session). The book of Cool is a great video, it has many freestyle disciplines. Check out also "Nail Delay" on youtube.

p.s. it takes about 1 week of practice to control a disc on a nail (and you can start without frisbee nails).

    Fabiosis

  • I'd pay to be able to do that stuff ;)

Anyone know what the track is?

  • I sent you a message :)

    Fabiosis

  • More mass = more momentum = longer spin

  • As I thought, thanks for the info.

  • really?

i find that the lighter the disc, the better it spins on its own. if its a heavier disc, i have to spin for finger to keep it moving

  • Yes it should be a phisyc law. I'm not really a phisyc-expert, but some of my frisbee friends are and they told me so. I'll make some research and let you know. I think it depends by the gyroscope force that make the disc more stable and spin longer as the weight on the rim is encreased. I'll let you know.

    Peace.

    Fabiosis

  • It has almost nothing to do with weight although the heavier discs spins faster. It's the shape that matters the most if the disc will stay in the air or not.

  • It's just the heaver disc has more friction spinning on your fingernail, etc. -- If I understand your comment correctly

  • I guess it spins longer if the disc has more % of plastic in the rim. for example if you play with a Discraft the plastic in the rim is normal, but with a Wham-O there is more plastic in the rim that make every throw to spin faster and longer nail delays.

Fly high and check out my other videos :)

    Fabiosis

  • yeah, they have to use light frisbees, or else it wont spin for that long...

  • well we use 160grams disc and usually it's the opposite: the heavier the disc, the more it spins, for example with 175gr discs the disc spins for much longer and has better stability.

  • amazing

  • Do they use light frisbees for that? or doesn't the weight really matter?

  • Well, we're using 160gr frisbees. You can find two major freestyle disc companies that make freestyle frisbees: WHAM-O and Discraft. The bigger the weight and size of the disc the easier is to control and it spins for longer time (example 175gr that are used for Ultimate)

  • thx

  • wow thats some fucking hot chicks in there

and holy shit to those players as well

  • Impressive skills I could never hope to match, with a song I never wanted to hear ever again - ah well, can't have everything...

  • ahahahah XD ....anyway, I'm glad you like the moves!

    Peace,

    Fabiosis

  • sweeeeeeeeeeet.

at 3:00 the freestyling is perfect for the music. i love it

  • Eheheh, I love that part, that guy doing the long "machinegun" combo is a really young (17) guy from Hungary. His partner and him are playing from 2004 and they're already amazing players.

    Fabiosis

  • ur right it realy is

  • woah yeah i know!

  • Cool! I want to take lessons.

  • yeah me too! lol

  • what's up with the very same trick they are all doing? the one where they kind of jumb over the frisbee and chatch it... seems like it's the number one trick you can do;)

  • Well, that's one of the most known move in freestyle frisbee. IT's called GITIS. Probably it's so well known as it is the first "advanced catch" usually people learn. There are plenty of variations too: gitis, jumping gitis, flamingitis, flamingitosis, hammer gitis...

    Fly high..

    Fabiosis

  • im more of an ultimate kinda guy

  • vorrei organizzare una manifestazione simile a ravenna che devo contattare?

  • good footage, great choice of music.

    Please check my invention too.

It is borne of the same spirit.

  • This reminds me of that old-fashioned circus act where a juggler or clown balances a bunch of spinning plates on long sticks. Probably harder to do than it looks.

  • yeah..we're not clowns...

  • I didn't say you were, nor implied so either.

  • It's pretty cool, cuz it's difficult and all... but you sure do look like a queer while your doin it.

  • u guys are getting it done.excellent promo vid.love the gitas set,#5 tip sequence super nice edit.watched it again...really nice work.

  • u guys are getting it done.excellent promo vid.love the gitas set,#5 tip sequence super nice edit.

  • To delay a disc..you delay a moment in time...then dance in joy and jam everlasting...

  • Yes pure beauty to delay a kinetic force. But, what it could be.

Chek it at my Flexy Video, still.

    Love Johnny

  • To tarkus21: that sounded like something from a very very, VERY good poem ^^

  • Nice video. The tricks are impressive for sure. But I just don't think that it's as cool as what the Flying Disc Jockeys are doing on the beach out in California.

  • and ...it's all about the fun!
