Wierd how so many people don't like this movie. I loved it. Sure the storyline, the acting and the action scenes were boring, but i thought it had a dark and cool, artistic feel to it. I love this movie!

Never understood the hate for this movie. Yeah it's inferior to CR, but look at the bigger picture here, at least it's not Moonraker bad, or Die Another Day bad. I personally found QOS much better of a film when seen moments after CR. To me QOS is more of the third act to CR's lead up. They work well together, not apart.

That rope drop/twist looked amazing. I remember being so excited with how it will play out in the movie. Maybe falling down and pulling a gun out of his pocket and shooting back up.
Man was I horribly wrong. The way it was edited really slowed down the pace. He falls at that fast rate and then he just hangs there trying to get the gun. I was so hurt on the inside, it didn't look remotely as cool as it did in the trailer.

Moore is a little fuzzy, but I barely even remember Lazenby and Dalton.....looks like there's a marathon coming up on my three days off work :P Might end up changing this line-up when my memory gets refreshed, lol

The problem with QOS is that CR set the bar very high - realism - good plot - better females - etc. So by comparison people don't like this film. In reality the movie "Cabin boy" sucks. This movie is a lesser installment in the bond series. There is a difference between "sucks" and that.

This movie has cool fight scenes and action sequences, but other than that I didn't really like this movie. And I wasn't too impressed with The Bond Girls in this one, especially Ms. Fields- YUCK.
Connery had wit and a charm about him but could be tough when needed. Moore had a suave sophisticated humour to him not to everyones taste I grant you. Brosnan had a tough guy no nonsense approach and was smooth as silk. Craig had a raw edge to his Bond and made a good start with Casino Royale and I enjoyed that but not this one.
it has become more of an action film now than what it should be: A film about espionage. Films with Intrigue and suspense are far more powerful than any action film can provide alone. it has to be backed up by more than just pure action otherwise it becomes boring.
There was so much quick flashing from one camera to another i ended up with an epileptic fit by the end. i thought this was a dissapointing Bond Film compared to earlier ones. I hated it and put at the bottom of the list of all the Bond Films i have seen.
Pierce Brosnan should be Bond! What are they thinking with Craig?! These new movies just seem like normal movies now and do not feel Bond like. Get the series back on track with Brosnan.

I will admit it's not what everyone would consider a Bond film, but I think it was a necessary step in Bond's evolution as a character. He can now progress and become what's expected of him. I just hope he doesn't become the "old" Bond.

I disagree with those who reckon this is the worst Bond film ever. It just has a weird story and a shit ending. On her Majesty's secret service is awful as are all the Roger Moore films apart from Live and let die. and Tim Dalton wasn't a great James Bond either.
So yeah that is unfair. There are plenty of Bond films that are worse then this. For me about a 3 out of 5. Good action but let down by a poor storyline.

@KISSarmyGuy This film is not that bad, it's a great disapointment after Casino Royale, but some of the Roger Moore films are easily the worst of the series.
They should nave have replaced Pierce Brosnan in the first place, Tomorow never dies was a good example of showing gadgets, Usely bond gets briefed by Q in a funny scene . Bond aint a killer spree guy but a gentlemen, even the old Q is no longer with us you can still hire that guy who was in the The world is not Enough and Die another Day. Daniel Craig did a great job in a movie that didn't have a good director at all. Daniel did what was written in the script, you know that right? Not what he wanted to do or so. I also miss the shaken, not stirred, the seduction, but i guess this franchise needed to be reinvented and that turned out as lazy, but classy Bond. Don't blame it on Craig. Blame it on Mr. Forster!

Love the new Bond. The old Bond films are good for their time but this is 2010 not 1960's where bond punches once to beat a guy. This is more realistic where Bond bleeds and is in shape which makes it believable he can do the things he does. Craig does give a sophisticated feel by the way he dresses and his witty comments which is why he fell for Vesper because she was just like him Only thing I like about the early films were the villains but that's just me

I wish they would start making Bond films for adults and not American teenagers. I guess they go for the buck. Ian Fleming would roll over in his grave to see what they have done to Bond, turned him into a stupid superhero.

I will admit it's not what everyone would consider a Bond film, but I think it was a necessary step in Bond's evolution as a character. He can now progress and become what's expected of him. I just hope he doesn't become the "old" Bond.

Casino Royale was fantastic, probably the best bond movie in MY opinion but this wasn't really as good as I expected it to be, this was a letdown, i hope bond 23 has as good a plot as casino royale...

Sadly this movie may well have killed James Bond as a movie franchise. Total disaster. Bring back Roger Moore as an 80 year old internet hacking spy, who seduces 13 year old virtual kids, to get their user ids and hold mark zuckerberg in a space station torture chamber until his clone releases a nerve gas capable of transforming the earth into nirvana....... come on hollywood writers....

This is just hilarious.. having all the people here disliking Daniel Craig and the last 2 Bond films. "Where are all the fascinating gadgets that look like they're from outer space? Where's all the pointless shooting? How about those hundreds of unexplained explosions? Why doesn't James Bond have sex with at least 6 different women in a single movie?" Oh my god, I just don't know. Wait, I do after all: BECAUSE THE FILM COMPANY WANTED TO MAKE JAMES BOND- MOVIES BELIEVABLE. And they sure did. :)

... I dont know if I'm the only one who loves this movie, and I love the soundtracks of it. I know it doesnt have lots of sex or completely unnecessary shoothing or some weird ass technology, but its really beautiful in its own way.

they completely destroyed bond franchise with casino royal and quantum of solace.... James Bond series was famous because he had so many gadgets and all bond's were looking like gentlemen...But, now Daniel Craig is looking like a bum and the films are looking just like every other action film without those cool gadgets...just rubbish :(

I disagree with those who reckon this is the worst Bond film ever. It just has a weird story and a shit ending. On her Majesty's secret service is awful as are all the Roger Moore films apart from Live and let die. and Tim Dalton wasn't a great James Bond either.
So yeah that is unfair. There are plenty of Bond films that are worse then this. For me about a 3 out of 5. Good action but let down by a poor storyline.

They should nave have replaced Pierce Brosnan in the first place, Tomorow never dies was a good example of showing gadgets, Usely bond gets briefed by Q in a funny scene . Bond aint a killer spree guy but a gentlemen, even the old Q is no longer with us you can still hire that guy who was in the The world is not Enough and Die another Day. What happend with all of this.

@Quex01 i dont know if you saw the same movie i did, even though this was not as good as casino royale i got to say it wasnt that bad its like 2 out of 5 star movie compared to the first which i will give 4.5 out 5, and daniel craig was awesome it just lacked some few details, the villain was bad the action was good the humour was not all that great and they over did it with the location arts

Daniel Craig did a great job in a movie that didn't have a good director at all. Daniel did what was written in the script, you know that right? Not what he wanted to do or so. I also miss the shaken, not stirred, the seduction, but i guess this franchise needed to be reinvented and that turned out as lazy, but classy Bond. Don't blame it on Craig. Blame it on Mr. Forster!

@bronxboyXXX daniel craig is my second best bond actor after connery, brosnan was great and he had epic moments like the line "i dont miss" which was pretty awesome, but this bond if you have read any of the original bond books will tell you that ian fleming would have been proud of his work, it is more closely related to the character that fleming created: brutal yet vulnerable, a player yet a person that has feelings. the reason why you dont see the gadgets is because james bond just became007

Only reason I have create acaunt on YT is because I need to say that I love James Bond as Daniel Craig . I wasnt fan of 007,but when I saw Daniel how is he drawned in the role being Bond is amaizing . Conery is good but that movie was filming 40 years ago(its a new world now and very diferent) . Mesage for daniel: If you see this keep your bodey in shape soo that we could watch more of your movies as Bond , and you are only actor I respect

Love the new Bond. The old Bond films are good for their time but this is 2010 not 1960's where bond punches once to beat a guy. This is more realistic where Bond bleeds and is in shape which makes it believable he can do the things he does. Craig does give a sophisticated feel by the way he dresses and his witty comments which is why he fell for Vesper because she was just like him Only thing I like about the early films were the villains but that's just me
