@jordandoestech Sorry to hear that man, I would definitely call Speck to see if they can send a replacement. 1 month seems too short for a case to fall apart.
@jordandoestech Haha thanks! Hmm depends on what you like but if you preferred something along the lines of a Speck Candyshell (meaning form factor etc.), you might also like the SwitchEasy Vulcan, SGP Linear Case. If you want to go even slimmer, I personally like the Incase Snap Case (Matte Version) or the Pinlo Slice 3. Hope this helps and appreciate the support!
@jasonlovefight90 Yea I did not experience that issue (the well for the standby wake key was not that deep for me), but valid point. Thanks for the comment!
Can you tell us which cases you've reviewed add the least thickness to the iPhone 4? I'm looking at the Speck Fitted, Candyshell and PixelSkin HD, the Griffin Reveal Etch, and the Incase Silder. I like being able to put my iPhone on a table facedown, but the Incipio NGP I have now has a thick lip on the front that's just too much for me.

@omains I would say the cases which have added the least amount of thickness are the snap on type cases, but if you want a little bit more (including a lay on the table design) you might want to take a look at the Agent18 EcoShield+ case. It feels thinner than the Incase Slider while also providing a lay on the table design. Of all the slider type cases I have used the Ecoshield+ feels the thinnest. If you are looking for minimal thickness I would avoid the Candyshell or even the Pixelskin HD
you are one of the best reveiwers i've found for these products, very similar style to its me morphious! which is nice because i think everyone in the tech worl don youtube is missing him right about now, keep it up !
@JmsCrwly Thanks man really appreciate the kind words. Man that's a huge compliment if you're comparing me to Carlos :). I'll continue doing what I do and hopefully these videos are helping people out there. Appreciate the continued support!
Did the case add that much more thickness and weight to the iphone 4? I know it's not a low profile case, but I'm not expecting it to add THAT much more weight or thickness to the phone. Also, is it easy to slide the case covered phone into and out of your pants pocket?
@aubze For me it did feel like it added a bit of bulk (thickness wise), but I tend to like cases which are more like the feather type thinness. And yea it's got a gloss surface so it's really easy to go in and out of your pocket. Hope this helps!
No the newer version has a oval shape camera cutout with no flash problems. The case also has a larger 30 pin cutout and new er rubber material so it doesn't flake. Plus the case has got slightly lighter and smaller. Check your local AT&T now as they have them in stock.
They just changed the camera cutout and are shipping the new version. Att stores have the updated ones in most colors as I was just their and picked up the purple one for something different. Online should be shipping this week in all colors with the new design.
Great review Will, as usual :) A question: the frame around the display, you mean the table design, it's too protruding, so the use of touchescreen is compromised, particularly in the operations that require the interation with the edges of touchscreen, such as the text selection in a external word. It was a problem with the last version for the 3GS, so I hope this issue is now solved. Thanks.
@simmattdeffa It hasn't posed an issue for me. I've used it just fine without any issues using the touchscreen or the edges of the touchscreen. I think they've remedied that issue. Thanks and hope this helps! :)
It reminds me between a mix of the Griffin Reveal and the Apple Bumper. The only thing I don't like is the shiny black back, the website seems to only have the black in a shiny back which is disappointing. Still, it's a nice case but I'm still aiming at either the Otter Box Defender or the Ballistic HC which unfortunately are both sold out with long wait times. I'm just a baby when it comes to my electronics. :P
@MacintoshUser1986 Yea I wish they had done a matte finish and fixed that flash corner issue, then this case would be awesome :). Thanks for the compliment as well! :)
@techdude6693 Yea I was pretty disappointed that it came already scratched and scuffed up AND that it scratches pretty easily. Looks pretty cool but wears out after awhile, especially the corners as I showed in the video. Great comment!
@TekBeatTV here's the funny thing too, last time, the fitted wasn't all that good and the candyshell was, now it seems the other way around... The Pixelskins are the same. and the Geometric is kinda strange. but I honestly wasn't expecting that out of speck's best selling, award winning case...
@TekBeatTV crap, removed my comment by mistake.. I forgot to mention that the case only works with the standard USB Cable, other one's make it stretch. I tried to use the cable i have in my car with the case on (its an older apple one) and it wouldn't fit
if i didnt have this case my brand new iphone 4S would have been shattered already
